Bobugee: Bobugee, Why on Earth are you sounding smart but you are really making bad decisions? TB pays 12.5% ROI but Annual Inflation data for 2019 is 13.5% and increasing? So, that means you locked up your funds with the banks at 1.5% loss in value. Na wa for you people o. Success requires Data Management Strategy and you must extrapolate the growth curve using data spread. You all need to start working with data and not just the figures on paper. Wealth Creation requires statistical savvy. Damn.... 7 Likes |

I started a service rendered business in 2014, took me a year to plan. I've re-strategised at least 10 times , I've been disgraced , I've cried, I've thought of giving up, I've questioned myself... Well truth be told, the road isn't easy at all. It's not going to go as planned. As a Christian and a strong believer of God's word, that's what kept me. But outside religion every business you startup must have a "WHY". This Why must be something that relates to you, that made you start, your why can't be money or profit. It could be a break up, it could be obesity, it could be anything asides money. Because this Why is what will keep you going when there are no sales, this Why will be the thing that makes you say, okay let me try again. If you can make 1m in Nigeria as an entrepreneur there's no country in this world you won't blow. It's not easy in this side of earth 10 Likes |

I have read through the thread and there is no single success story. Reason being that none of the posters had a really good reason for going into business and secondly, do not even know the most important reason that makes a business succeed. Just people who are battling to make money. Money is not the reason you should do business but, just a tool. No matter how much money you have, it is just a tool. If you believe cash is the reason you should be in business, you have a set of wrong data running through your mind. Stop wasting your time and money, just go back to the basics friends. 6 Likes |

Nairalander Brothers, you are right. Its not easy running a business, forget the gimmick of start with little as bla bla bla and some even tell you, you can start without capital. I starter a business 5years ago, I have not made a profit but losses not because am useless but their are many factor that ruin businesses especially with limited starting capital. In the past, I started several business and abandoned them for many good reasons. Now, I made up my mind to stick to this till the end. Guess what, in trying not to give up. I have learn to start producing the much needed material locally instead of buying same from importers. I have tested my locally produced product and it gave me and my client 100% satisfaction. My advise are: You either continue as a salary earning or go through the challenges to succeed as an entrepreneur. Every successful businesses suffer setback before succeeding. 4 Likes |

I'm so happy i stumbled onto this page today. I just started a cleaning service business and I've been having sleepless nights since i started. I used almost all my money to invest and I'm yet to get one client. I'm so confused and don't even know how to go about this whole thing. I've tried several marketing strategies and it's really frustrating me. Need advice on how to go about this effectively... |

Rubbiish: People don't know the usefulness of Mentorship. Before I started out my first business I approached a Mentor and gained 300% returns in 12months. When I started my second business, I failed to approach my mentor which would have saved me so much headache, stress and loss of my initial profits. So that's the problem most young business people have, they make up the profits inside their head and expect it to flow accordingly in real life without guidance. Another mistake is seeking advice from the wrong people who lack experience in the area of business you are going into. 1 Like |
