nonye6194:lol...in reality that's not how a city should work.. the reason why Lagos is still being populated by many is because of what we've assumed Lagos to be in our heads.. when compared to other cities Lagos is just rubbish.. how can a city not have potable water distribution system and constant power.. a city without proper drainage plan.. people just pay high rent for nothing. |

bayelsaowei:Of course Lagos isn't among the 20 clean states in Nigeria sef ![]() It's populated because of the opportunities that abound here and not what we've assumed in our heads. Most people move to Lagos in search of greener pastures. The little provided amenities can't take care of the exponentially growing population. Even the small we see are poorly managed by the populace. let's talk true for once; Lagosians are the ones destroying Lagos state. it's not the government defecating in the gutters, throwing rubbishes on the roads and wherever without care in the world. Some of the public use amenities are destroyed immediately because of poor management. Lawma and visionscope work hard to keep Lagos clean but Lagosians will ruin the whole place in a matter of minutes. The government is also to blame too. Especially on the inability to provide enough Waste disposal systems, portable water distribution and road network. in spite of the monies they generate from taxes and revenue from the fg It all boils down to the landlord of this Lagos in Ikoyi who makes so much monies from the abnormally called Eko |
