Brother 06 corolla in Lagos is just 1.8m(last week self pricing) while do you want to buy problem? Even with the same 1.9m you will get a good car that will last you in the businesswhen you ringed the car and still use it for uber, I assure it can't last you six month
at the bolded. It's on HP. I only wants to take the deal cos I'm getting frustrated at home. Been searching car on rental for over 2weeks but couldn't get any.

enlighten me before I make mistake please I got a Nigeria used 03 corolla on H.P at 1.9m. Vehicle is okay except the fact that recently, it shortens engine oiland when the owner called in a mechanic, the mec adviced him to ring it. We asked if ringing it would solve the problem and for how long... He replied ''it depends on the mec doing the job and the type of rings used '' that he would use original Ring and it would last nothing less than a year.
Note: the owner bought it Nigeria used, I have driven it for 6 month and about 3 others have also driven it for e-hailling before me but I don't know how long.
Here are my worries :
*is taking an engine ringed car at 1.9m sensible?
*would it serve me ?
,*what are the disadvantages ringing a car engine
Also note that the mechanic bought the original ring of 35k.

Please if you are in any group of Uber or taxify pass this message to all drivers and car owners. From 11th of February to 14th of February no driver should drive again after 8pm. Indeed Uber/taxify app and any other e-hailing firm will be on but stop driving at 8pm for the safety of your life and car not to be damage.

From 11th to 14th February is election week. Do not drive on Friday. Tell any of your family members to come home quickly. Explain to the person that gave you car for delivery or better park don't work that week. For hire purchase people quickly tell your partner about this week. This is for the safety of our lives and property. Thank you. Please pass this message
#DriveWithYourSense

What always puzzles me is how stupid messages like these are quickly broadcast and retweeted all over the place. The drivers that would still work overnight would do their thing regardless of your election fables of the unknown..Abeg make una go park Well instead of instilling unneeded fear in the uninformed.

Hi great drivers.
I am about getting an Honda civic from a partner to start ehailing and i have two questions I need answers/advice on.

1. What is the maximum I can do for delivery (partner says 35k which I think is on the high side)?

2. What are the dos and donts when entering airports (especially in cases of parking)?

Kindly help.

Frustrated at home for 2 weeks? What if the deal land you in police net? 1 night can pass for a week. What if the unimaginable happens? And suicide thought flash thro ur mind. Lack of patient have lead so many astray, so don't start what you may not be able to finish, just because you want to ease ur mind & body.

I was once like you, until I understand the depth of the business. But haven't said that, nothing is impossible when understanding is involved. If the car is sound and OK, I think you can get a 15k/20k weekly deal for such condition. No gesture of offence, just being honest here.

My advice: a ring car would stress your life especially since you would be using it regularly. It'd be burning oil fast. Servicing would be done every 2 months maximum. I am having this situation with my company's staff bus that I am managing.

To hell with Uber or taxify nonsense I am tired of doing this business and I have formally deleted the apps on my phone permanently. Nonsense business indeed. That's y some taxi drivers say they can't dovtgis Lind of business at all. U work our hell out for nothing to show. If u do this useless job for five years vu can't achieve anything at all. Nothing

From experience and please and please don't take that car .. I rather similar experience with my 07 elantra.. Wrong and cheap oil was used.. The oil started to short, we than top the oil every three weeks. We couldn't locate the leak and nothing was showing on the ground.. The oil shorten to the point that there was no more oil .. Finally engine was ringed for about 150k naira.. After 6months or less I sold the car .. The point is no matter how you chop it ,slice and dice it .. Once Nigeria mechanics ring that engine, the engine will never be the same again.. It would have been better to have bought a Grade A tokunbo engine .. Stay away from that car ...

stop focusing on just the engine, there are other parts of a car. If you Drove it for 6months and it served, then replacing the engine with a sound one should not be a problem to the owner. Just factor it into the HP.
