So I did a little search on Google and found out that the crash scene captured actually happened in Mali on January the 22, 2019.

More evidence can be seen from the link below.

This whole thing is just suspicious. What is APC planning to gain from this?

The owners of the helicopter already confirmed the incident. Should the accident have claimed lives in order for you to believe it? This sort of politics you are playing is disgusting.

Osibanjo did not use a military helicopter, he used a plane colour helicopter.

all the video we have seen of the crash landing was a military helicopter.

I think the op was refering to an earlier video posted where it was claimed that the crash in that video was the one the VP was in...

my own concern is why would the VP of Nigeria use/hire a private chopper as a serving VP?

the security implications are massive & I know for a fact that the Presidency has 4 fully functional helicopters & if for any reason, all 4 are unserviceable (which is impossible), there are military helicopters that can & should have been used to ferry the president.

at the swearing in of Fayemi, there were 3 military helicopters present just for the organisation of the event, much less the VP of Nigeria.

so, while I hold my reservations about the circumstances surrounding the actual crash, I wonder what would have informed the use of private charter service.

it's either:

1. the VP cannot trust some one or some people within the presidency as per his safety... or

2. the VP is being purposely denied his due...

You must believe in cartoon characters to believe BUHARI can defeat ATIKU

Sometimes, reality is difficult to stare at but best to face it

ATIKU can "NEVER" lose
Buhari is the new Father Christmas in town!
First, he gave Guinea Bissau $500,000 last week, and he has now approved a grant of 1 billion dollar for Sudan to enable them fight famine.
This is a country that can't pay 30k naira minimum wage. A country that has been designated as the poverty capital of the world fighting poverty in another land.
A country that has been borrowing and even trying to sell of its assets to finance a budget is giving to another country.
A country that doesn't suffer famine, but its citizens are very hungry.
This grant to a great extent revalidates the Jubrin saga!
BUHARILOOTER must be voted out at all cost!

Sometimes the way people attach political sentiment to issues is what is taking naija many steps behind. The owner of the aviation coy confirmed the story, OP is saying he witnessed both chopper crashes.

You should have investigated WHO posted the video first! The real video did not capture the crash, just the immediate aftermath. The helicopter the VP was in is white! Carry your conspiracy theory far from here

there was no official claim that it was the video of the crash, people started sharing that video claiming it was the vp.

That wasn't the VP's chopper, sorry for your research, you spent your energy on the wrong one because immediately I saw the video, I knew at once it was a fake.

I'm restraining from insulting you since its Sunday, but what do gain from such senselessness the crash occurred in a stasdium, does that look like a stadium? I'm not a fan of the current govt, but politiking with life is something shows a very low level of human decency

@all pls disregard OP and the fake news:

some unscrupulous/undiscerning individuals have even gone so far as to circulate a video showing the crash landing of a military helicopter, from an unrelated incident, which neither occured in Nigeria nor involved NAF or 011 PAF aircraft,

The owners/operators of the civilian helicopter, Messrs Caverton Helicopters, have already issued a statement on the matter.

“In addition, the military Dauphin Helicopter, painted in desert camouflage colour, seen in the video circulating on social media does not belong to the NAF and should not be misrepresented as belonging to the NAF.

ATTENTION!!!
Can I get every Nigerian to weigh in on something
important? For the sake of our generations and
generations to come?
Whether you are a student or not. Let us assist and be
'our brother's keepers'. But this is especially important for Nigerian students.
This is a long shot and I know how hard it is to get
Nigerians to do important things but WTH! Will still
give it a try. #10years Challenge has died down(thank God) and in real sense, it was not a social movement aimed at
achieving anything...it was rather a fun escapade for
people to laugh at how ugly they were; before and
after.
Now we have more serious and pressing issues... Can
we join in? Let us get this trending: #DecayinNigerian EducationSystem And #SaveTheFuture. after the ashtag, talk about your terrible experience with the system, either it be
strike, bad infrastructure or other things and also
mention the school. You do not need to be a student to
do this.
Since our government and other stakeholders like
ASUU and ASUP have decided that the future of the Nigerian student is no longer of interest to them. Let
us drag our case global. After all, due to hypocrisy,
Nigerian leaders and many stakeholders mostly do
the needful when it goes global.
Get this trending and I will try my best to get one or
more international media to discuss it in one of their news segments. But most importantly, let us via this
means, show our anger and frustrations for our sake
and sake of fellow Nigerians.
If so many years later, our education system is still
under the drain...I wonder! Sudan, Benin Republic,
Ghana and many other African countries has better system than us- the so called giant of Africa. We need
to begin to force change in our country if those
charged with it are too dull , corrupt or uninterested in
enacting real reforms.
When you use the ashtag, if on Twitter or Instagram,
kindly tag Nigerian President, ministry of education, the minister of education, ASUP and ASUU, 1
international media.
So can we get it trending? I know important things are
hard to trend in Nigeria. Even those things that affect
our future, the future of our children or generations
unborn but let show that we are more as a generations than just laughing at our leaders bad
English or turning serious things to joke.
Let me start:
#DecayinNigerianEducationSystem #SaveTheFuture
My story:
'I wrote Jamb 3 times trying to get admission into a university in Nigeria and for those 3 times I was
denied admission; not because I did not meet up the
cut off Mark but because the system is rigged against
the student. I applied for a diploma program into ABU
university and subsequently applied to Kadpoly. I
spent 7 years running a combined program which is expected to be less than 4 years. Which means
additional 3years + . This was not because of carry
overs or poor grade but because of continuous strike.
And to make matters worse, our school infrastructure
was nothing to 'write home about' and as a student
studying chemical engineering; we mostly did theoretical aspect of the study than practical.
And you wonder why our science industry is under
the drain? Our hospitals? Et al. Even with this struggle
during my academics, I still see myself as the lucky
few because many spent over 8years seeking
admission and spent longer trying to graduate. This is the sad reality of the Nigerian educational system
which is expected to be one of the strongest
institution in any nation...And you wonder why crime
is high? And so is scam And lack of innovation? That is
why we end up having more people wanting to be
musicians, actors, or comedians than scientist, innovators etc.
By Idris Muhammad Ngene (Eedris Ngene).
