I sincerely doubt that... No network in Nigeria goes below 100ms. You just can't get that. I have tried all of them. Use a proper latency tester to see your ping or make sure your game is reading it right. For example in Fortnite, if it's activated, you'll see your realtime latency at the top left of your screen.

There's nothing like customer satisfacrion in Nigeria, america's 3G is faster than baija's 4G and instead of the idiots to develop the 3G and 4G, they are busy jumping to 5G

That's because you are far away from te server, unlike developed nations that there Re many servers and you could be getting 2ms.
Imagine when I'm in Enugu using a server that's in Lagos or Abuja, why wont I expect 200+ms
This is Nigeria, I don't know when the network providers will actually have sense and deploy the right methods

Abeg work on latency too... My swift gives me up to 4mb/s download speeds but latency is still like 200ms to 250... Bad for online gaming

well u haven't used the internet in all parts of Nigeria ...... ....I don't doubt that either ...I have seen many e guys with ping below 100ms.

For the shooter genre, perhaps.

But single player games will never fade away.

Adventures, platformers, RPGs, etc will always be an integral part of gaming.

Once upon a time DayZ was a thing. Even though I still enjoy it, that game style is basically dead.

Fortnite is enjoying its run after PUBG did, but games like Anthem will bring back the multiplayer role playing genre that Destiny and The Division failed to capture, even if Anthem is off to a poor start and The Division's game engine was seriously overhyped.

Me...single player for serious gaming, MP for that casual vibe.

BR gets boring after few games really. I play it when there isn't any other thing to play. It's filled with bunch of kids who don't know jack about teamwork.
And instead of Treyarch to bring something else, they jumped in the bandwagon too... Can't wait for it to not be a thing anymore

Let's all face it. Costumes don't give any additional advantage like in RPG's but, everybody wants their character to look cool. Nobody wants their character to wear pant/boxers and bra/vest for the rest of the game. (plus other features) That's where microtransactions come in. With companies making a reasonable amount of profit in battle royales, plus the hugely significant profit gained by the risk taken with Blops IIII, I'm afraid companies may shift their attention to BR.

My fears: If that happens, Nigerian gamers are fvcked. Data na like food and e no even good. That's why most of us just play cracked games' campaign, clean mouth... Onto the next.

It's kind of a shame that ntel (our own home-based network) is more expensive to own than other foreign networks. Smfh

A great deal of gamers out there prefers single SP campaign by a mile to battle royale
