The Kenya Revenue Authority is the only body mandated to collect taxes in Kenya.Don't compare Narobi's building registration and parking fees to Lagos's state IGR WHICH IS JUST A MERE 2.5 BILLION US dollars!

You're thick headed. We trade with South Africa and most of SADC countries thro COMESA. COMESA if I am not wrong has twice SADC trade volume. It SADC plus North Africa minus South Africa. We are no crying in your border. It's you who are trying to sell cashew nuts and beans for us for cheap.

I don't think they get as high as 3B dollars. Nairobi if it was allowed to collect taxes - would easily rake half of 15-16B dollars of all taxes KRA collects.

And their rumoured GDP is equal to Angola or Morrocco - who easily collect 30B dollars plus. It big a joke. You know more than half of Nairobi revenues are from Land rates. Lagos I doubt can even collect 1B kshs from their Land Usage rate - something similar to our land rates.
