i know it varies depending on the company's policy,kindly share with others when you normally receive your monthly salary.

Lol, it might be better in other company, but definitely not where I work.

The reason why they do this 60-40 is to tie staff down from resigning their jobs.

When they pay on the 1st of New month and you intend leaving the coy, you will be forced to wait till the 5-6 of the month to collect your remaining salary, if not, it might be difficult for you to get the remaining 40% when you leave there.

It is a very big strategy to keep staff there.
