Wow!!! COngratulations oooo

Accra has finally started releasing people ooo

We thank God for the good news.

May your joy be permanent. I like the fact that you were proactive with your career. At least, its clear that you would be going there with a relevant certificate.

I'll rate you 7/10 on your PPR script.

Go and prosper.

God bless.

Thank you. 7/10 na better mark.
Honestly, I thank God I started the certification process while I was waiting. I joined a WhatsApp study with some people in Canada who were also writing the exam, and they really helped me with resources. At a point I wanted to give up and wait till I get there before commencing the certification process as their legislation were very foreign to me, but am glad I did not.

I must be sincere with you... you took the best decision because when you land.... you would be more focused on adaptability than on writing exams.

Go and prosper in your new land. I hope to meet you there too.

Cheers**

What a journey! Congrats! Reading this makes me afraid of using my pension as part of POF. One can't really say with these people o. Pls what percentage of your POF was in pension.

Hello, NanaF.

Just use your LOE very well if you are using Pension.

Let me summarize and paraphrase my response on Pension to them: 25% of your Pension is accessible to you after resignation and a lot of people have used it successfully.

There is no way you will relocate to Canada and not resign. Moreover, it is technically your savings and not a Government benefit.

The success rate of the withdrawal of 25% of your Pension balance is almost 100% in Nigeria.

However, if you can, I will say don't rely on your Pension. Just use it as a buffer for exchange rates.

Ahhhhh!! Baba.... This your PPR script na text book ooo

Infact make i name am .... " PPR Made Easy" by Dane15.

May God bless you so much for keeping us intrigued and glued to our seats while reading your bundle of joy.

You deserve all the accolades. This was quite a wait and an emotional roller-coaster, i must acknowledge.

These are the kind of PPR scripts new comers would read on this platform and believe it is very possible.

I'll rate you 9.89/10. This is totally amazing!

I pray for you today, that the God of heaven would favour you beyond your expectations in Jesus name. May all things work together for your good in Cannyland. ... and where others are saying there is a casting down, you would say there is a lifting up.

Go and prosper.

God bless!

Oh Professor! 9.89 for me alone? Thanks a lot. May your PPR escape speedily from IRCC into your email.

For the new born, why not let madam travel and birth in Canada and u do a soft landing. This may be easier than adding the new born to PPR in the Long term.

Dear Junebaby,

Thanks for your concern.

It is too late for her to fly. We will just chill and enjoy our house rent small, while I am applying for jobs. Plus the winter is not smiling right now.

I pray your PPR will come speedily. Amen.

Thank you for the detailed post Johnnybravo. Please what is the full meaning of CES? Is it Comparative Education services or Canada Evaluation Services? I'm so confused.

johnnybravo1990:

Yea.

https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/express-entry/documents/education-assessed/how.html#designated

Go to the above link, and you will see the 5 designated bodies. CES is the first one. Click it, then click 'ECA for immigration purposes'. Then click 'apply now'. It then goes to a page which shows you the cost (210 Canadian dollars.) However, along the line, there is additional 90 dollars or so for international posting of the ECA report to you; the only option if you do not want to pay the 90 dollars is if you will pick the report in their office in Toronto. Clicking 'apply now' again takes you to a page where it asks you to log in, or to register if you are new user. Feel free to register(you will not be penalised for registering even if you won't use CES for your ECA eventually, but please, don't forget your username and password). The particular page where it prompts you to enter you username and password, it will do you good to bookmark the page for convenience of subsequent log-ins. After registering and logging in, in the further pages you open, you will see questions regarding your personal and educational history. So fill the pages as you go on, if you choose to use CES for your ECA.

But I will summarise what you need, though I may skip some points unintentionally. The only hardcopy document you need to send to CES is your transcript from your school(I called them personally on phone to confirm this). Every other document is soft copy and should be uploaded in your online application. Such documents include data page of international passport, your academic transcript and your degree certificate. Each of the soft copy documents should be coloured, in pdf format, and all pages of each document should be captured, even if it is a blank page. For your hard copy transcript, when posting, include the 'student number' in the address. The student number is usually generated for you when you register in the CES site and it normally begins with 'X'.

Somewhere in the CES website, it tells you processing time is 12 weeks after all documents have been received. I cannot independently confirm this because I am just 10 weeks post-transcript-delivery. One downside of using CES is that your profile/online portal is not updated many weeks after your transcript reaches them(mine was updated 9 weeks and 2 days after delivery of my transcript to them). So ensure you track your transcript as it is being delivered; that will help you know your transcript has gotten to them.

To my understanding, there is no WAEC verification issue with CES. Whether CES verifies your transcript with your school is not made known. Should there be any issue with your application, CES will contact you; so I was told in their reply to one of my emails I sent to them.

Full details below:

ECA & IELTS
I started this journey in 2017, the year when scores dipped to 419. After checking my scores via CRS calculator online and coming to 437, I started the ECA process in May 2017. The plan was to evaluate my B.Sc and Master degree with IQAS. Unfortunately, I did not know then that you could evaluate only the Master degree. I requested for my Master degree transcript and it got to IQAS in about three weeks but my Bsc transcript took almost 5 months to get to IQAS (that one na another long story. ASUU strike et al). I saw IQAS go from processing files in less than a month , to almost 3 months while I was still waiting for Bsc to get there. Anyways, I finally got my ECA finalized in Jan 2018. In the meantime, while I waited for my credentials to be evaluated, I prepared and wrote the IELTS exam in September 2017 and aced it the first time. By the time my ECA and IELTS were ready for me to create an online profile in Jan 2018, scores had soared. 437 was no longer enough to get me a direct ITA.

Nomination from Ontario:
As God would have it, I got NOI from Ontario in Feb 2018. Less than one week after I received the NOI, I celebrated my Birthday and my score went down to 432. I nearly refused the NOI from Ontario cos I believed scores would come down in 2018 and I wasn't willing to spend cad $1,500 for the processing fee. Thank God I listened to sound advise and accepted. I got nomination from Ontario in May 2018 and got ITA in the next draw. The required docs for submission were already available as the same docs were used for OINP. I submitted my application May 31, 2018.

Post ITA:
Am an HR professional and since my destination is Ontario, I wrote to the HR governing body (HRPA) and started the process of getting certified while I waited for PPR. Never knew I would finish the whole process and PPR would still not have come, all thanks to AVO. I had to write series of exams in Accra as the HR exams are not written here in Nigeria. I wrote the first exam in Nov 2018, passed and was cleared to write the final exam in Jan 2019 (I am awaiting the result). It was a great distraction as AVO no just send us at all. We all know the AVO story so will not bore you. Anyways, After more than 8 months of waiting I saw my file move to IP2 on 17 Jan, 2019 and PPR came Feb 06, 2019.

To everyone still waiting for their files to be approved and especially to AVO members, hold on, It's on the way.

God Bless!
