I have one of my neighbor who is into Uber that used to intimidated me with figures then (salt and paper things plus screenshots), he later had an accident after fixing the car he always call me now and then to transfer money for him to complete his weekly remittance.
One would have thought that with such figures he will have a lot of savings, I asked him he said he himself can't even explain what's happening.
One of the things he said was that the money doesn't come once so as a they come u also have small small expenses.
He gave me an instance assuming he make 15k at the end he buy fuel 4k, eat, pay tolls and do other small small expenses u will be left with Oga money for the day. And sometimes he have AC wahala like compressor issues because he actually changed the compressor twice the first one was bought brand new that's like 25k
My point: what I see on my dashboards doesn't always translate to how much cash I have at hand as in my pocket.
Again some of the people that successfully run HP at a point defaulted some didn't even succeed the first time but the experience helped them later.

If you have a sizable responsibility you will know that 120k a week you see on the dashboard (assuming is consecutively) can barely sustain you, only those into the system understands.
That's why some partners who added their driver to their account will be seeing figures and be wondering why the drivers find it difficult to deliver.

I don't just want to talk but if what fahrenz posted here is what he make I make more than him but I am not here to measure prick.

Na so

Is now fraud? But if he's here throwing figures up and down you will be hailing him.
Do u know how most drivers come about the figures u see?
See we all know these things, a minute is around #10, that means if u spend two hours to complete a trip it's #1200.
Then a kilometer is between 65 to 75 or there about, oya do the calculation. But they will end trip and u see 8 to 10k when the person didn't go beyond Lagos.
Do u know that from VGC to airport is supposed to be around 3k plus early in the morning but it's usually 4 to 5k. Abeg no let me shake something here ooo

Days I net even 15k on weekdays, I get home earliest 11pm and if I want to achieve same the next day, I would need to leave by 5am like the previous day.

I know it's easy for people that have 5 houses in Lagos.

Let me learn from you.
Many of us have only two houses, but one of the houses is everywhere. If you know you know grin

you don't get.

I make 120k net minimum weekly consistently . And I have proved it over and over.

You came out and said you make more than me which means you make more than 120k weekly.

Why did you keep arguing that it was impossible to make less than what you make weekly?

Lmao @ pity the car.

I drive my own car and I save 50k weekly.

I can afford to buy a car from my savings every 9 months.

Or. After 9 months, I can sell my car for over a million, add little money and buy another one and still have savings.

Cars are over rated

when you wake up on any day with a 15k target in your mind, divide that 15k by 2.

When you make 7500, go offline and go and sleep for four hours. Wake up and go get your remaining 7500 before you sleep again. You won't feel tired or sleepy
On point

When I joined the platform, I was buzzing everywhere. Slept in my car, bars and clubs. But a time will always come that one will definitely stop. I will share my experience very soon.

Let me advise people seeing figures here, it is not as very easy as the figures look. If you have a job that is paying you up to 100k, don't leave it till you get a better job. If you have a car, use the car to get trips to & fro work daily especially if the distance from house to office is almost/over 20km. And work on weekends too. With this, you have an additional source of income from Uber/Taxify.

Everyone has a way of doing things. If it works for you, keep at it. If you think you need vast improvment, seek for it.

God bless u real big, 130k weekly is feasible, but I believe in sacrifice, you must give sometin to get what you want. Why I can't knock anyone hustle... When I started out I try the car stuff, but at the end I told myself, its not worth it... But in -between, all man for himself, you just have to do what you have to do

@Fahrenz, u still got my respect anytime any day, but for newbies, Fahrenz is a rocket science, don't look at him as a reason to jump into the business. As for Dru, same respect, but with my cap still on my head, I'll remove it whenever his in town and choose to drive for a week. grin

Hello brother, I beg to differ..my take is this..any driver that is serious minded...honest with himself...and has bills to pay (I means does not have another source of livelihood) can make this work...I drove on this platform after I resigned my appointment with the Bank to set up my business..

Honestly I was comfortable driving because I realise I ALWAYS had money in my pocket..for me the only thing was that I was picking alotta my former customers ;Dey were acting like driving was a curse angry. me I no send dem ooo but driving was not my main source of income. brother if I had nothing else to do and driving was what was paying ALL my bills, I mean my 9-5 den what fahrenz is doing is highly possible..i tell you..ive been there...To be frank, I learnt a lot from dem Ogunvic and romeo3..i admired their work ethics minus the fraudulent activities, does guys motivated me and I knew it was possible.

Like every business, if you dont have good money management and know how to save money, trust me, no matter how much you make you will be broke perpertually..ITS NOT ROCKET SCIENCE...

Instead of arguing up and down that will not improve drivers welfare nor add money to our earnings, its my opinion that we should be motivating ourselves with good advices and tips. We should be talking about how to help each other in this business viz a viz security, bad riders etc.

I want to ask a very important question which we have not really discussed here. WHY ARE TAXIFY RIDERS MORE TOXIC AND TROUBLESOME THAN UBER RIDERS? THIS IS A FACT! Funny enough, same riders you meet on taxify being all troublesome, they become more friendly on Uber. Is it that Uber cautions them or that Taxify tells them to be hostile to drivers?

Hi guys I'm a newbie to Uber. I'm about to register as a partner ( I own the car and want to drive it by myself). I just need some tips please like
Where are the hotspots (if any) to get riders
How much can I make in a week working for 12hrs.
Any other advises or suggestions is welcomed.

I reside in yaba area in Lagos. I drive an 06 Corolla.
Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Nobody: 4:16pm On Feb 06, 2019
Fahrenz:
you are not making any sense.

I drive on uber, I drive on taxify every week. I make certain amounts of uber, make certain amounts of taxify, and offline trips. I make minimum 120k weekly from 2 or 3 of the sources combined.

You are saying I shouldn't combine my earnings. I should not cumulate them. Because you want to see where I made 120k only On uber or 120k only on taxify. How does that make sense to you? How does that make sense to any living thing?

With due respect for your positive mindset, you are the one not making sense here. You gave the newbie hope that he can make 120k consecutively for a while, bragging that you do likewise. And the guy challenged you to post your earnings of 120k or above consecutively for 4 weeks, and win 15k. I think this is clear enough. Kindly post your uber and taxify earnings for each week, for four weeks consecutively; I think gsparks01 also clearly explained this. You used the word 'consecutively' in your advice, and nitigrity disagreed with you on that, and in defense, you are now resorting to the word 'cumulatively'? Come on, stop arguing to win.
You were advising a new comer, which is good. But the advice was a bit misleading. That's what nitigrity stood up against. There's no need debating this as we are all talking English.
