From what I observed, Barca are gradually getting use to the fact that Messi will soon retire., All these little injuries he keeps getting are due to the fact that he is getting aged, though with his age, he still have some time left, but what u people fail to understand here is that MESSI won't play to the age of 34, his fatigue is getting hold on him, left to me, if Berca wants him to play till he gets to 38, they should start giving him resting time., One of the BIG difference between CR7 n MESSI (sorry to bring in CR7) is their training n fitness rate., don't b surprise Barca will soon start benching him.,

Messi needs to start playing 60-70mins in every Barcelona match . If the guy leave today Barcelona go struggle big time ; more than what Real Madrid experienced when Ronaldo left .

Messi isn't injury prone already ...he hasn't been hasn't shown any sign of being one ....and 34 is too little ..if iniesta can play till 34, I see Messi retiring at 36/37

Barca management are working hard to replace Messi.. and it would take just a season before they finally get him replaced or adjust their performance without Messi . They are putting those boys together in Matches they can outurn the results e.g. Spanish cup. Messi off course is very vital in the Barca team for now but that guy from Ajax will bring a lot of Firepower before they finally unleash xavi Simon... another Messi in the making

Okay. If it is in England, business as usual. They will sell and forget to bring new and good hybrid players. Sir Alex Ferguson did that mistake. He had no one to replace C. Ronaldo.

There is a big difference in selling a player that you expected or willing to stay and retire player.

A wise club prepare years ahead of their top player retirement but it is hard to replace a sold player.
