It was carnival Like Atmosphere at APC Presidential Rally in Lagos.

It was good I attended the rally, but this video was shared by another supporter on twitter.

There is a huge difference of what you see, read and hear on social media to what is happening on the streets. Most of the people that votes dont have social media accounts.

I arrived there around 8.30am but could not gain access till around 9.30am.While the actual campaign program started around 2.30pm when the President came in from the nearby National Stadium where his Helicopter that brought him from Lagos Island landed .

It was mixture of all Nigerians, importantly Lagosians Igbo, Hausa and the majority Yoruba.

It was interesting seen varying messages from the President, who is still very strong and agile and also in a very good mood at the rally.

Strong messages also from the VP, Tinubu, Adam Oshiomole,Rotimi Ameachi, Babatunde Fashola, Gov Ambode and Incoming Gov. Jide Sanwo-Olu(I like the way he speaks), Afenifere, Secretary Gen of Ohaneze Ndigbo Worldwide

The Messages focus on the achievements of the administration and what they intend to do in the next four years. This was the highlight of the message from the former Gov. of Lagos and MPWH Tunde Fashola who spoke in Yoruba for almost an hour before the arrival of the VP and the President.

Asiwaju took us to the Classroom on how to vote, it was interesting take. He spoke almost about 20 to 30 mins.
He spoke about President achievements and also took the opposition to the cleaners.

The VP also spoke in Yoruba majorly on FEB 16 election day.

Comrade spoke extensively on the President Achievements, how Lagos has been transformed since 1999,opposition, observers and INEC.

The President was at home in Lagos and in high spirit, spoke briefly but the message was straight to the points interrupted briefly by elated crowd with shout of SAI BABA and 4+4=8

The Stadium was filled to the capacity with the people outside the Stadium probably more. But before the arrival of the President(President was engaged with Biz Community and others on the Island), more than half of the people have left after waiting for almost 5 hours due to the schorching sun and impatient nature of Lagosians. But the lesson I learnt was that all the leaders of APC still took their time to pass their messages accross which resonates with people at home. That was why we see such reactions all over. It was a very good outing for the party

Wasiu Ayinde was the star of the rally. Also to mention, Small Doctor.

My Take

This election has been won and lost. PDP may need to wait for more years because Nigerians seem to believe that they are the major cause of Nigeria problems. People also believe that this govt is doing its best to remedy the ills of the past with their performances over the last three years.

In conclusion I am a supporter of Nigeria Project and PMB.

Every reasonable Nigerian knows that Buhari has won: that Saraki, Dino Melaye should fail, that Yaya Bello should also fail.
May we have a better Senate in 2019 and more reasonable govs too

The wailers will tell you the venue is scanty and Atiku will defeat Buhari in Lagos

This presidential election is already done and dusted. Nigerians are only waiting for formality next week Saturday.
