Where were people like Pastor Okafor then?... sitting comfortably in his self made empire receiving tithes and first fruits.

Likewise when GEJ got in power and was exhibiting lack of control with every idiot looting away the country's destiny, it was the same set of people that stood up, braved the soldier bullets and protested against bad leadership. Once again, people like Okafor kept mum.

Recently a group of my friends who are youths in their twenties were blasting an almost 90 year old Soyinka why he wasn't coming to lead a protest to save Nigeria; this is an almost 90 year old who has led protests since the 60s and even spent a portion of his life in jail. And the youths wonder why the old folks arent retiring...
