I totally agree with you, PHED is usuing estimated billing to balance their account this is criminal and must stop. I have been going to ask for prepaid meter but I was told that there's no meter, If I want meter I should pay 100000 Naira that I will be given meter same-day

We are enjoying 20 hours Electricity in my Area, PHCN is really Improving. I remembered a time when we stoned all the PHCN staffs in my area and their Manager

Discos are legalized corporate criminals, licensed to deceive, rob and intimidate Nigerians in broad daylight.
As for fashola, he can't help but speak from two sides of the mouth at the same time. He condemns the discos in public but habors their excuse.
Where in the world do you bill electricity consumers without a meter.
An idiot who claims to be a disco technician came to do meter reading in my home. He started by noting all my power outlet rating.
I quickly corrected him in form of electrical engineering. How do you take power measurement in a house without visiting the distribution board rating which is the central point for the loading and distribution of voltage.

Most of these guys are ill-trained for the job or are just an accessory to deliberate scamming of the public. To top it all, discos still receive subventions from FG without commensurate service delivery

I like where he says ' it's better you don't have light with prepaid meter' than to have light without prepaid meter.
But they won't distribute those meter,i have applied for 3phase since 2017 but yet to get it.

I use prepaid and I have power more than 23 hours a day. Sometimes three or four days they won't blink it. I have no problem with power. I switch off my gadget to save my unit cost.
Meanwhile it wasn't that way before. They distributed prepaid meter and power became stable. Just little fault on the power line you wil see them running helter skelter to solve it. Why is it that way? If they don't give us light, then they won't make money.
I don't have generator currently and u have never complained since there's always light.

Mind you, not every area that uses prepaid do have light. Ones a particular area start bypassing meter, they will stop giving them light as it supposed to. My areas doesn't bypass and there are people that monitors each house against such.

I don't understand Fashola's stance on this. If new vendors are licensed solely with the responsibility to distribute meter, what would be their source of revenue, how would they make profits, and of what benefit would the business be to them? You can't separate meter distribution from DISCOs. If one must make profit, he ought also to make investment.

The minister of power Babatunde Raji Fashola enjoy free power supply ,he will never be served an estimated bill and all the decisions makers in this country... they don't feel the pain you and I is getting on a monthly basis from this evil electric distributor called IKEDC i.e Ikeja electric distributor company.
Our magnificent problem is that will don't come out to protest against this malicious treatment melted again us.
A stop must come to estimated billing. PM: Prepaid Meter will reduce corruption greatly.

It is absurd to be billed without having the light(electricity), why are we paying for what we did not have or see or use?

NERC is the problem of Electricity consumers in Nigeria. Have you noticed how they keep shifting MAP operational date forward? The truth is that NERC does not want MAP to function because they are enjoying returns from Estimated Bills by DISCOS. Mark my words, the year 2019 will come to an end and NERC will make sure that MAP is still not operating!

But in estimation of bills, you will pay for that 6 to 8 you didn't use.
