Hello Nairaland,

I am a duly registered voter and transferred my card from Abuja to Enugu since August 2018.

I have been going to INEC offices to enable me get my card.

My name has been transferred to the register of my polling unit however my card has not been printed.

I do not know whether it is plain incompetence or intentional rigging but what I what is what legal options do I have?

I also understand that many people are facing similar challenges.

I want to sue! Lawyers on this forum how do I initiate a class action against INEC compelling them to give me my card immediately.

I cannot take this with a fatalistic mindset.

If i were to hazard a guess, i'd say at least 30% of Igbos (in south-east and other parts of Nigeria) have been disenfranchised!

How will I be killing myself? By suing for my right to vote?

There are millions of people who are about to be prevented from voting by the incompetence of INEC and yet nobody is talking about it
