After Watching the game against Bilbao again, its clear Valverde isn't the way forward. he would rather die than substitute Suarez, Someone here said Boateng is a back up..What the hell does a back up mean if its not to play in place of the misfiring "first choice"..You signed Boateng, then play him..He cant be any worse than Suarez really.

Valverde also will rather give Coutinho 1000 chances to somehow magically proove he's a Barca Player when clearly he's out of sorts and form. A more refined and attack minded coach wouldn't start Phil at all, he would have started Malcom(since dembele isn't fit) and Semedo on that left side.. At least there'll be serious threat coming from the left. it took Forever for EV to make subs.

Messi will get too crowded in the middle because the midfield is trash.. The middle zone is Messi's zone but he can't do anything if he doesn't have players, technically gifted players to play with. Teams know all they need to do is to crowd Messi out in the middle, one player bodies him while another gets the ball..Repeat over and over and the same thing will happen.

Also Alba is our 2nd most important player this season..Extremely important..second only to Messi really.. He hasn't played 8 matches this season and we only won 2 of those games (both against cultural leonesa)...It's a shame we don't have a credible replacement nor has his contract been renewed.This isn't the Barcelona i fell in love with.

If any fan here believes we will still win the Champions league with Suarez as our No 9 then that's the fan in you believing and most times fan's wishes are entirely different from reality.

Enrique only won CL his first season, league next season and his final season he only won Copy del Rey, what Enrique had his final season was more than Valverde had his 1st season, yet Valverde won the league and Copa del Rey. This was posted in January 2017. And Suarez is yet to get back his old self which is certainly no longer possible. Brilliant peeformances here and there at times can't disprove his decline over the years and its even more evident by his absymal performance in the Ucl. If we must achieve glory in the Ucl, Suarez has to be more responsible in burrying chances because only few would be created.
