Please help me oo..

So I'm currently weaning, and as expected my breast is very engorged and painful. But that's not the issue. The problem is, it is only one breast (the left breast).

The other breast (the right) is just there, soft as usual and not engorged or painful either.

I last breastfed on sunday evening, and due to the pain, i pumped out about 120ml from the engorged left breast yesterday, monday, even at that it was still full and hard with milk, but i had to leave it like that and endure. But still the right breast is just there like normal. (And there's milk inside oh). I didnt pump it or anything since its still normal.

Today, the left has gotten even more harder, engorged and painful, while the right is still the same.

This morning now while dressing up, i had to pack some folded piece of cloth into my right bra, cos the difference in their size is now sooo obvious. Very obvious, unbelievable and awkward.

Is this difference normal or should i be worried and what can i do?

When I weaned I didn't press out the milk, I also didn't even take painkillers, the pain was so much but I was determined to bear it to the end and after 4 or 5 days of felt better than ever... don't worry with time both breastfeeding will become the same size ..joy of motherhood

Good evening mamas, my daughter suddenly stopped walking on Saturday evening, she started raising 1 leg up and if the touch the back of her knee she cries out in pain, we went to the hospital and the doctor said we should give her ibuprofen and use diclomol ointment, today I invited on an xray and it showed she has a tendon ligament strain, the doctor still insisted we continue with what he told us to use, please has anyone experienced this before? How was it treated and how soon will the pain go? Doctors in the house please what else can I do

You can finally paint your nails and watch them dry in peace.
You can go watch a movie all night
You can watch your xrated movies with the speaker tuned high wink
You can listen to all the bonbom shaking music you like
You can actually eat what you want to eat as peppery as you want.
You can go out with a small hand bag or just your purse plus knack your high heels join
You can have a girl's night out or a mommy's day out.
You and your husband can rẹ-anoint the house without the fear of someone sleepwalking on you.
You can leave your book lying around without fear.
You don't have to put your laptop away
You can finally fight and tear clothe with that neighbor without having fear of setting bad example grin

thank you so much. That my prayer.. that the two breast would come back to the sane size or at least with a very little difference. Cos i don't understand why it is only one breast that is engorged

It probably means you favoured one over the other when feeding. I think it's nothing to worry about, both will return to flat slippers normal in a few more days. For now stop expressing, use cabbage leaves for relief or di.clofenac

Mine was like that, one boob didn't give me any trouble at all while its partner was going crazy. When you express, it's just to get a little relief, it wont calm down just like that. The good news is that you'll be fine by the end of today or tomorrow.

So like my DD.

But in her case, she wants to stand to do everything, eating, watching cartoon or just playing but she is not walking yet. She is 11m +. I dunno if its fear of walking independently because she holds the chair and walks round it, same with fridge, tv console and anything that she can pull herself up to.

Sometimes is war to put him to sit, he'll hold me and stand instead.

i didnt even plan to wean just yet. The decision came impromptu cos of work. Fortunately, i'd been breastfeeding only at midnight/night for a while now, so it wasn't like i went cold turkey on her.

My baby too is yet to walk. Maybe taking one or two steps which is just recent. So i dont think its a problem.
We'll all be fine las las wink kizzez to the twins... i pray they will take the weaning easily and fine by God's grace.

well the left has always been bigger naturally, but only a very slight difference thats even only noticeable by me. But since delivery, i noticed the left easily gets full than the right. So i would usually feed more on the left to get it empty while the right can keep up and get full. But that only made the left to get fuller faster. It was hard and confusing to correct it. So i guess that's why.

Pele. Mine was different in size too but not sooooo differentlt. For the pain what I did was to take a hot shower and while have the hot shower i used towel and hot water to slightly massage both breasts. Milk flowed out freely and I felt instant relief. Then after the shower i massaged again with Shea butter and used paracetamol. My grandmothers recommendations and it worked like magic

Lemme save this for wen I decide to wean
But I doubt it will get full to this extent cus I don't think it's flowing much now

Have you been breastfeeding with just one breast? I'm breastfeed with just one too. And I'm also worried hoping that when I wean my baby both will become normal.

it will come back to the same size. I experienced it while breastfeeding my son. I I got used to breastfeeding him with my right breast @d initial stage of lactation, thereby resulting to one breast producing milk (you can imagine the view). It was so obvious that one breast was bigger than the other. Not that d other was not producing milk but very minimal. So throughout our 18 months of breastfeeding, it was only one breast all through.

To cut the long story short, both came back to same size after weaning.

Try and be massaging with hot water. It gives faster relief. All d best.

Exactly, that's always the end result of feeding with one than the other. My experience.

We started at 10 months BUT very loosely, the whole purpose is just to get him used to the whole potty idea so things would be easier when we finally decide to ditch the diapers. I'm targeting 18 months for that, fingers crossed.

You have to wear patience as a garment when this potty training starts o, otherwise frustration would be one's name. So for us, freestyle at the moment. Some catches, MANY misses. No pressure on your baby at all, no shouting, no smacking, no anger.
You pee or poop in your potty, good! You don't, fine norni.
The easier ones to catch, the pee whenever he wakes and a few minute after meals.

By God's grace, I hope to share my experience in full once we go completely diaper free sha.

With my first, we started @6 months. He was purging then, so in order to minimize the use of diapers, immediately I see the sign, it's straight to the potty. And it really helped, just that all of a sudden, he will just enter the kitchen and poo there or one corner at d sitting room. Sometimes, he will get up from the potty and poo on the floor.

He later changed Sha.
