A former Ogun State Governor, Otunba Gbenga Daniel on Thursday was engaged in a last minute push for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar ahead of Saturday’s poll, blaming inadequate timing for the former Vice President’s inability to conduct open rally in the state.

Daniel, who is the Deputy Chairman of PDP Presidential Campaign Council (South), led Atiku’s campaign train to Ogun Central and West Senatorial districts, ahead of the election.

Daily Trust reports that Atiku did not hold a rally in the state, but his wife, Mrs Titi Abubakar had visited the state to campaign for her husband.

Daniel, in an interview with newsmen today on the sidelines of the tour, noted that “Ogun is already a done deal for Atiku.”

He said: “He (Atiku) has been to Ogun State on a number of occasions. It’s just a question of strategy. Sometimes you go and do big rallies. But don’t forget rallies that are done like that are meant to collect the converted. And you know our Ogun State is a very sophisticated environment. I think we have done what we need to do.

“For instance, yesterday, he was to be in Abuja and we cancelled Abuja. Time is very short. Part of the situation here is that we are quite sure in Ogun everybody is rooting for Atiku. It’s a done deal as far as we are concerned.”

The former Governor warned Nigerians to resist rigging and any attempt to postpone the election, saying such move may amount to derailing transition in Nigeria.

He also pointed out that the PDP candidate has demonstrated that “he has the capacity to restructure and he would restructure our country.

.There are 3 types of Buhari supporters:

A) Those in denial, refusing to believe they were misled into voting for him in 2015.

B) Those who know they were misled but don't care because they love his tribalism.

C) Those who don't know they were misled because they simply don't pay attention

God bless Alhaji Atiku Abubakar the incoming president of federal Republic of Biafra.

Its only thief that support thief. All Atiku supporters are thieves if you have one around you pls make sure you are conscious of your property or else, within a twinkle of an eye, they have looted your property away.

PDP should get their headquarter working first before they get Nigeria working. Charity begins at home.

Poor Gbenga Daniel. Atiku just dumped his behind after a marabout and Pastor told him that he should replace Daniel with Saraki and carry him everywhere he goes if he hopes to get anywhere near Aso Rock. Smh.

Naturally, opposition parties do not need campaign to eject the incumbent government because they have left this country economy in shamble. A sane and patriotic citizen will vote this president out, just same way we did to jonathan.

Because Atiku us a thief who invest government properties and money into family business even as his voice candidate, Peter Obiliar has been doing so far.

The airlines staffs who were forced to retire as a result of Atiku shambolic privatisation were just payed their pension by Buhari. PDP didn't pay them in the last 16 years.

Despite Buhari administration earning 60% less yet he's come up with plenty projects such as

Our railways at itakpewarri, Lagos-ibadan, kaduna-abuja etc,

The production of low cost fertilizers,

Zik maoseleum

Baro inland port,

Rice mills,

Foreign reserve increase from #26b to #43b,

Construction of our express highways such as enuguonitsha, Lagos-ibadan etc.

Social policy schemes such as tradermoni, npower etc

And most especially, stabilizing us through this recession which happened because jonathan failed to save despite earning 60% more than Buhari coupled with the fall in the price of crude oil from #110 per barrel in 5 years under Jonathan to a paltry #50 per barrel under Buhari administration yet Buhari was able to keep us afloat while having many projects to his name thereby surprising Ngozi Iweala and Charles Soludo who predicted recession because jonathan failed to save during the time of plentiful.

Sai Baba. PDP, Neva again

There was no enough time to go to Ogun state but there was enough time to go to Dubai twice.

The truth is that Pdp is heavily polarised in Ogun State with 2 different sets of Excos. The faction loyal to Atiku is the Adebutu faction and those ones have lost at the Court. Buruji Kashamu doesn't give a hoot about Atiku and Buruji's is the legally recognised faction.

Atiku would lose in Ogun state that one is sure.

See lie, which Ogun? Atiku will kill some of his foot soldiers after this election is over...

Supreme court judgement gave it to Kashamu as PDP flag bearer for Ogun state.
Secondus already collected #250m from Ladi Adebutu.... They just dodged the conflict of interest..

All in All, the man assumed to be "fragile" has managed to transverse the 36 states + FCT... ..

"Before you cast your vote on Saturday 16th February remember the hunger that struck the land about three years ago caused by APC and PDP , remember the number of people killed by Boko Haram , Herdsmen and the number of people that committed Suicide . Remember how many people that were kidnapped due to lack of Security in the Land. Remember how many people that died in cold blood on our highways. Vote Your Conscience , Remember how many times ASUU went on strike since 20years ago . Say no to APC AND PDP. Vote OMOYELE SOWORE OF AAC"

Please my people it is the last days for APC and just like the devil they will kick they will bite they will manufacture documents, doctor tapes ,videos and so on just to get our sympathy, but do not be dismayed, the killings in Benue will and must cease after February 16, we shall remove the same man who his own wife told us is no longer in charge of his Government, a man who's wife revealed to us that only two men hijacked his Government, and urged the youths to rise up in a revolution, that man is who we are sending back to Daura to rest in peace.
A vote for Atiku is a show of strength in our power to defeat evil, to kick out incompetence anytime we want, and to prove to them that the actual power belongs to us.
God bless Waziri Atiku Abubakar on his victory
God bless our 'China' man Okwute Peter Obi.
God bless the PDP
God bless Nigeria...
