theenchanter:Esselte asked you a valid question: Why are Nigerians migrating? We fault the stats of the whites still we migrate to their country. To me that double standards or hypocrisy. |

Omooba77:Answer his simple question. He didn't insult you. With less than $100b oil earning in 4 years, we now have: Lagos Ibadan Railway, Abuja Kaduna Railway, Warri Itakpe Railway, Loko Oweto Bridge, Port Harcourt International Airport New Terminal, Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport New Terminal, at least 10 revived fertilizer blending plants etc. The entire country is a construction site: Enugu Onitsha Expressway, Port Harcourt Enugu Expressway, Sapele Abraka Obiaruku Agbor Road, Auchi Okene Lokoja Abaji Expressway, Ore Ajebamidele Ogbere Sagamu Expressway etc. Kindly name PDP's projects in 16 years. Don't forget that PDP earned $782b from oil between 1999 and 2014. What am I even saying? In fact, just confirm to me that PDP has completed its National Secretariat Building after raising over N25billion for that purpose. |

SocialFinance:Let's say it is true PDP created, what has APC done to improve it? Nothing!!! They have rather exacerbated it, they made it worse. They came campaigning of hope but all they have brought is sorrow and despair. Statements emanating from agents of theirs like you is one which show they lack ideas about how to improve the 'bad' situation they claim to meet on ground. They are bad market rational people should avoid, a people who revelled in impoverished crowd always available to shout sai baba at political rallies. A bunch of rag-tag lying and despicable set of useless politicians. Yoruba people say "Osa bo le gbemi, s'emi bo de ba no" - If a god who improve my lots, it is better it leaves me the way I have always been. APC is a fraud, a big scam.. |

Some people will even say it is Buhari that didnt make their wife pregnant, children of hate you are responsible for your own poverty, not government. Even if govt is distributing 1m to you, you will still run back into poverty. Argue with your android palasa phones. |

Esseite:And who says so....? You must be dumb to believe that. My friend, go and look for what to do. Which 100 million Nigerians are living in abject poverty? Do you know how much 100million is? I mean 100million people...that is to say that....if person dey waka for streets for Naija, everywhere go dey smell of hunger dey follow am. Mtcheww...which people patronize hotels, drink bars, bet shops, quick service restaurants etc, on daily basis? How much did MMM, Twinkers etc, rip Nigerians off just fews ago? Which people pay fees for the hundreds of thousands of students across Nigeria's public and private schools & universities? Which people buy and patronize the millions of businesses across Nigeria? Which people fly airplanes, board buses and trains across the country, in their hundreds of thousands daily? Who told Nigerians live in abject poverty? The lazy ones probably. Oga, I have been to North America and have given white people alms before. Don't come here to say what you don't know. They give you the impression of a perfect society and want you to think the worse of your society. In Orubebe voice...we won't take that! |

Esseite:There was a report by the United Nations a few years ago that humiliated and embarrassed India (as an emerging economy-like China) - The Indians considered that report a global setback for them, and since then they are doing everything (not to change poverty in India) but to use fake news to adjust the reality. India has not reduced any poverty...na lie! Most of its 1.3 billion population live in more poverty than the poorest African countries. India has always got a pass from the western media when it comes to negative reporting (poverty, rape, illiteracy, caste system, arranged marriages, crime, no toilets) - rather than fix the issues they always make arrangements with western media to concentrate on Africans instead! |

saaron:The problem of poverty in Nigeria (and Africa) transcends political parties - it is at the grassroots. If every single Nigerian family checks their incomes BEFORE producing children (based on how much they earn), Nigeria will not record more poverty than Poland (for example) - corruption or not! ITS IS SAD WHEN EDUCATED NIGERIANS ALSO JOIN THE STUPID BANDWAGON THAT POVERTY IN THE COUNTRY HAS TO DO WITH GOVERNMENT, IT IS AT THE VERY BASIC FAMILY LEVEL - DO NOT HAVE CHILDREN YOU CANNOT FEED! |

j1mmy:But the Indians are not against the figure... if it was propaganda, we would have seen outrage from its opposition. |
| Re: 91 Million Nigerians Now Living In Extreme Poverty - World Poverty Clock by j1mmy: 10:19am On Feb 15, 2019 |
SocialFinance:Again my dumb African, poverty is primarily created by human lifestyle at grassroots level not by political party or government - the role of government is secondary! The lifestyle choices of Nigerians (and Africans) cannot be compared with many civilized countries - it is designed to create poverty (many wives, many children, lack of responsibility, stupid belief systems, primitive). |

Esseite:I have been researching India for over 20 years, they are one of the funniest humans on earth, I have been to India several times - I don't know if you have. Indians enjoy a position of superiority among (STUPID) Africans, so it's common to find Africans defending their propaganda - even in cases where there are indices and verifiable facts to the contrary. Not long ago some reports was published (example) World Health Organisation (WHO) report says more than half a billion people in India still "continue to defecate in gutters, behind bushes or in open water bodies, with no dignity or privacy" instead of improving the situation, the 1st thing the Indians did was rally to change the narrative by pressuring the biggest media houses and UN to concentrate on Africans. They did the same with rapes, poverty, body odor and other negative reporting. It is not uncommon to find that anytime India receives a poor rating... the following years the report exonerates them and cites some African country - they have been doing it for years. India did not reduce poverty for 700 million people in 8 months, nor did it stop rapes nor did it suddenly build toilets for 700 million people nor did it stop body odor due to their highly spicy foods, nor did it stop arranged marriages, nor did it stop punishments using rapes! If you ask the average Indian in the streets of Mumbai or Hyderabad they will tell you nothing changed except that the Indian government managed to pressure the west and its media to change the narrative so as not to upset them! |

SocialFinance:1. It took 16 years of PDP rule for Rice to move from N2,500 to N11,500. 2. It took 16 years of PDP rule for Ltr of petrol to move from N11 to N87. 3. It took 16 years of PDP rule for $1 to move from N20 to N199 4. It took 16 years of PDP rule for one bag of cement to move from N400 to N1000 But just three years of this poverty infested Government the price of commodities have increased to 100%. So the the simple equation there is (4yrs of of APC administration multiply by 4 term) to get 16 years of PDP administration. The anwser is : one bag of Rice = N19,000 x 4 = N76,000. one Ltr of petrol = N145 x 4 = N580 $1 = N365 x 4 = N1,460 one bag of cement = N2,450 x 4 = N9,800 So by then 10 persons will be managing one plate of food. Is this the Next Level Apc is taking us to. God forbid. |
