I know this decision by INEC is very disappointing to all and sundry, but for Atikulooters this is another opportunity to attack the president and his party for INEC's failure.

When the APC is affected by INEC's decisions against it, democracy is working and INEC is independent.
But when an independent INEC fails in its responsibility despite being given all they asked for, Mr President and the APC are endangering democracy

More shame on Atikulooters than on INEC.

Your certificate is as useless as the k in knowledge

In 2015 election postponement was announced on the 7th of february saturday, a full week before the elections slated for 14 february.
The reasons were
*To improve the security situation in the country by battling the Boko Haram

*To allow space for more nigerians to collect their PVC's

In 2019 elections were postponed on the 16th of february on the day of the initial elections slated for the 16th of february. The reasons are
*Logistics!

2015 elections was singlehandedly postponed by the sitting president .
Meanwhile ,This time it is INEC that postponed the elections . The president has no hand in it .
I know some fools will say otherwise , but if Buhari can dictate for INEC ,then he should have ordered them to put Rivers and Zamfara states APC on the ballot .
Well for those of you that knows me before I say anything, I will have to say I don't usually reply to posts, but in this case I don't have option. When I see an intelligent Nigerian talking as though he is not then we need to talk. Oga that your statement is not correct. Inec still answers to the presidency they brief the presidency and before they can come out to postpone an election Mr President is aware. He agrees to the postponement.

In 2011 election was cancelled after we have finished counted the ballot papers because their in no network in DAT area to communicate to us until we reach our ward collation centre told us that it has been cancelled the reason JEGA gave that time is the same logistics issues means sensitive materials have not reach some area. To me its has been happened don't let us been bias. Some have been kill in Kaduna yesterday night.

How was INEC READY in 2015? Jega admitted on the floor of NASS that one million PVCs were yet to be printed. And many more undistributed. I watched it live on Channels TV.
Never mind the strong push against Boko going on at the time to get more areas in Borno to vote.
I've just told you the difference between 2015 and 2019 election postponement.

postponing election in the day of election. mi o gbo ri. I thought buhari will win before, with this he will loose.

It's actually bad but it happened before in 2011, was setting out my polling boot when I got call as the PO that d election has been postponed. Logistics should not be a problem this time because they have time for preparation. All I see is politics and inec ain't independent.

in 2015, elections were postponed by PDP through the NSA instructing INEC to postpone. in 2019 INEC postponed on its own due to the fact that the NASS failed to pass the INEC budget on time and the burning of election materials in some states by PDP thugs.

Who appointed ur beloved incompetent inec chairman??
So the fact that he appointed him makes him culprit to this embarrassment?
Do you use your brain at all?
Buhari has gone to Daura to cast his vote only for the INEC chairman to postpone elections.

In 2015 INEC was too ready to conduct elections in February, everybody was ready too, except Jonathan and PDP who on the fear of eminent defeat, they brought security issues in to postpone the elections.
Unlike in 2015, in this 2019 postponement everybody was ready expecting the election to commence as was scheduled, but it seemed INEC got it preparation wrong somewhere and have to extend the election on the reason it gave: logistics.
Therefore, there is no forced of hand (revealed or hidden) somewhere behind the 2019 postponement. Though no one can rule out wailings and blame trading.

A guy was just lamenting how the new date for the Governorship elections will affect his father's burial, after shifting the burial from 2nd to 9th of March due to the election. Now he is insisting that he won't move the burial date again. INEC has frustrated alot of people with this postponement.

2015 general election was postponed due to the decision made by National Security Council and the reason is more understandable than to postpon an election on the Election Day because of logistic when you have over 6 months to prepare for it.
