I made a paste of ginger, garlic and bitter kola then mixed with honey. But I don't know how tolerant will it be on a small child.

'RE POOP:
Give him lots and lots of water and breast milk.
Check your diet and reduce your iron intake
Water and fluids as much as possible.

If you notice blood in his poo, take him to the hospital.
If the metallic poop smell does not stop or reduce after three days of fluid and water therapy, take him to the hospital.

Good evening Mamas. Abeg make una help me put torchlight for this my issue. I was supposed to see my period on the 7th of this month but up till now e never still show. I have already done 2 Pregnancy tests and they are both negative. Am kinda bothered because I usually have a regular cycle of 30/31 days and have never really skipped a cycle unless due to pregnancy. Please what could be wrong? My DS is 11 months now and am still breastfeeding. TIA.

Mama pls I need your help on this cos its really weighing me down.
My son started having eela on his face about three weeks ago... I apply sudocrem on any one that appears and within hours it will dry up but his face is very hard, dry and somehow scaly. We plugged "fruit" leaves and red flower, boiled them and uses it to bath him. Its been 3 weeks but my baby's face is still rough, his head is full of eela (he didn't have hair when he was born so his head is scanty which makes it easy to see his scalp) his scalp is always dry, with dandruff -like and ringworm stuffs. I keep applying coconut oil but no improvement. I'm just tired, I feel he's not adding weight like he should, he was born 3kg, he'd be 10weeks on Thursday and I feel he's not even more that 4/4.5kg.
I feel so bad that he's going through all these cry

use baby tribotan cream for the face and head and if u can get those selling herbal leaves for eela to sell for u so u can boil and give the baby in small quantity

Your irregular midnight moves don overtake your regular cycle. Drive with care next time. It's a blessing . kiss

Happy Sunday Mamas..... My son is 3months plus he use to poo like 3times a day...but like 3 days ago he hardly poo Onces in a day and d poo colour is some how black ...pls is it normal

If you are doing EBF, improve your own intake of foods rich in fibre, vegetables and fruits.

If you are not doing EBF then increase the quantity of water he drinks. You can even make the water lukewarm especially first thing in the morning.

As per the poo color being somehow black, is it greenish black or black as in black? smiley if you are taking iron supplements, it may be the cause.

When I call my girl she answers ma,my son has picked that up. When he hears me call him he screams ma. She calls me mummy sometimes but my son has stuck with calling me Nene...whatever that means undecided and he will be 2 in April and calls other stuffs/people around him correctly.

Nene might mean mommy or mama in baby language.

Water is important since he is already taking formula and pap. Have you tried giving him water with cup and spoon instead of the regular feeding bottle?

Try cacatin cream, and also look for Jimpo ori. Cacatin is 100 while the ori is 800-1000

Seriously? my 17 months old calls me Nene. I don't know where he got that from because nobody calls me by that.
I'm yet to take him serious though, because I taught he says something else and it sounds like Nene to my ears.

Ha.. you people's own is good na. My 19month old does not call me anything o. She calls my nephew his name cos that one carries her everywhere. One time, she heard me call her dad baby and that was how she shouted baby throughout that day. It was hilarious grin grin but she has not called me anything, mummy or ma or anything I can remember.

Keep using the olive oil and if u can get Jimpo ori or opeoluwa Shea butter, it will go. We are experiencing it too and I have stopped washing her hair daily. Now once in a week. I just rub water so I can comb whenever we didn't plait.

U can do steaming for her to help her clear her chest.

I actually have a friend who still call his mum NeNe even up till now and and another whose children still called Nana.

I always wonder where and how they always come about such names
