I don't want to comment but. This got my attention
Do you mean GBJ is irresponsible too.
Because if you can recall, 2011 election was cancelled and postponed when some state in this country have started voting already.
2015 election was postponed for 6 weeks just a week to the poll. Both when PDP was in power.

Only an irresponsible government will do what Buhari did on election day.

My friend, if OBJ cancelled election on election day that's an act of irresponsibility. Only an insensitive leader will do that not considering the cost and inconvenience to citizens who have travelled to their respective states just to vote..
GEJ cancelled a week before election that's not too bad because there is time for people to adjust.

Those who sent her knows she has other things in her life and also anticipated events that might be way beyond their control , so they made arrangements for all this. The woman should just make use of those options. She's not the one feeding herself or paying for accommodation or transport fair. So, what's her complaint?

She can go back and tell those who sent her since the election didn't hold on the earlier announced date, she's opting out so another person can be sent to replace her.

Should we have had the election simply because we don't want her stranded in the face of obvious logistical issues?

If weather forces the authority to cancel flight, maybe she won't obey.
