There was never any intention to prosecute Maina and Babachir(who's the presidency coroner). Everything was arranged due to public outcry. Bubu's fight against corruption is sincerely a fight against opposition!
Corruption is in opposition blood.

Our Judiciary needs reform. All these cash and carry justice for the wealthy will have to stop.
And it should start with stripping Keyamo of the 'SANship'

PDP fought corruption a million times more than Buhari/APC.

1) PDP understood that Nigeria's Abuja over-centralized political system breeds and feeds wanton corruption; PDP TWICE sought to restructure Nigeria's political process created by soldiers.

Buhari/APC REFUSES POLITICAL RESTRUCTURING.

2) PDP presidents did not employ political office holders based on ethnocentric and religious sentiments.

Buhari's filling of political positions with people of his ethnoreligious group is worse than corruption by stealing money, because Buhari's type of corruption tears the fabric of a country apart.

Do you know NNPC is not answerable to any arm of government? Why do you think Buhari keeps running to head NNPC? Contracts are awarded willy nilly to friends and cronies, an establishment that can't maintain refineries is a scam
And the sad thing is that the demonic party is campaigning with this. I met one of the zombies who told me that because Atiku said he will privatise NNPC that the Hausa man will not vote for him because he will remove food from their table.

And Obahiagbon speaketh :
I am maniacally bewildered, overwhelmed and flabbergasted at the paraplegic crinkum crankum that has characterised the latest news about election , culminating in an odoriferous saga cum gargantuan gaga! The jiggery pokery of homo sapiens flaunting their incompetence as INEC officials instead of achievements stemming from months of preparation and years of hard work is a veritable bugaboo that must be pooh-poohed by all compos mentis homo sapiens!
I said to my self: What an anathematous disdain of the citizenry! What a deprecable descent from the sublime to the ridiculous! Who will curb the odoriferous excesses of this machavellian and mephistopheleancabal in the country? With this state of affairs, i dare say that the future of our dear nation is swimming in a pestilential aqua with a disastrious terminus ad quem inherently laden with avoidable cataracts, ice bergs and oxbow Lakes. It is sardonic and lugubrious and SHOULD STOP!!!!

Has the EFCC botched this case again? The other day, Babachir Lawal was all smiles in court when he was arraigned because he knows the case would be thrown out at last due to the well-planned script between him and EFCC which would see him discharged
atiku wouldnt procecute and imprison him either. He would give him amnesty.

[quote author=happney65 post=75865999]The Federal High Court in Abuja has stopped the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission from declaring wanted, a former Chairman of the Presidential Task Force on Pension Reforms Mr. Abdulrasheed Maina, who was suspected of complicity in diversion of pension funds.

The EFCC had declared him wanted after news broke in 2017 that Maina, who had been dismissed from the federal civil service in 2013 on the basis of the corruption charges leveled against him, had been reinstated.

But in her judgment delivered on January 31, 2019, Justice Folasade Giwa-Ogunbanjo, held that the EFCC could not declare Maina wanted without first obtaining a court order.

Delivering judgment in the suit filed by Maina on September 5, 2018, Justice Giwa-Ogunbajo ruled that the EFCC could not exercise its powers under sections 1(2)(c), 6, 7, 13 of the EFCC Act without recourse to court.

A certified true copy of her judgment reads in part, “The plaintiff’s second prayer is a declaration that without recourse to any safeguard in sections 35, 37, 41 and 42 of the 1999 Constitution (as amended), including a judicial intervention, order of court pursuant to sections 1(1), 8(1) and 42(2) of the Administration of Criminal Justice Act 2015, the 1st defendant cannot lawfully exercise its discretion, powers and or functions under sections 1(2)(C), 6, 7, 13 of the Economic and Financial Crimes Act, 2004, ditto section 4 of the Police Act, 2004 within the confines of the law.”

That's better if he agrees to return his looted funds which would be invested in the country, instead of going through years of court battles without any result or telling him to join the ruling party and keep his loot, right?

The most corrupt government ever in Nigeria is Buhari's.

Take this to the CBN.

Even Global Transparency International is dumbfounded over a man who came to power in Nigeria on the wings of anti corruption.
Zombies think otherwise and are even rooting for him to come back despite overwhelming evidence showing that the man is an hypocritical thief garbed in "integrity" clothing.
