2013, i had an incident wia i was pickpocketed of 50k in a taxi wen goin to the bank, luckily for me i found out early as soon as i got down from the taxi, i immediately rushed to the guy who sat beside me in the taxi and demanded my money, the kind of slap he gv me at the park ehh, even threatening to beat me for accusing him but i stood my ground and refused to be cowed, long story short, the NURTW chairman dia intervened and the guy was searched.. behold he was the thief!
So yes, a criminal resorts to violence when accused

In Nigeria i might react differently because i knw the system and also we (my accuser & i) hv equal rights!
But iver there i wouldn't, reasons because.
- We are in a sane society that wouldn't just enact jungle justice spot on.
- We don't have equal rights! Yes as a foreigner in another country, ur rights and privileges are reduced.
- I probably hv more to lose from deportation to huge fine, imprisonment or even outright xenophobic attack by the locals there.

The Nigerian guy simply acted on emotions rather than common sense! Funny enough ppl hailing him here might never get to find out about his woes as a result of his actions!
