Even at then, it wasn't. It should be around N4 point something million then. Not what a Judge of his ranking can't afford.

The person that opened your domi acct is your financial advisor or account manager right? Think! Zombe think!!

I know your moral compass points due south, so there's no basis for discussion here.

When you go to a bank to make a payment, do you deposit the money with the account holders name or your own name as the payee? Some zombies are not just wise, they just comment without reading and comprehending what they read. Smh

So something around N4m then is what the man can't afford? We should stop being told something we could find out on our own. Check the rate then and do your conversion. With high conversion rate now, it should even worth more naira than it was then.

Hi mate, don't look at exchange rate. Use the purchasing power index and inflation. 30$k was a huge fund 2009. Thanks.

What to look at is, did he worth N4m then or not. What he could have used N4m to buy then is not under contention.

Is obvious u are not intelligent. If u send someone to deposit money for u in the bank, doesn't they write their name as person dt put the money (depositor's name) for reference purposes

How is a judge legally saving up $30000 from attending sporadic seminars? Any why wouldn't he just convert it to naira on his return?

Why do the conversion when it was actually received in forex?

shocked

The CJN didn't know what a dorm account was in 2009?

The CJN sent money to a 3rd party to open a dorm account on his behalf instead of paying directly into the newly-opened account.

Anyways, I've always maintained that, in my humble and sometimes, ill-informed opinion, the embattled CJN is corrupt, complicit in the nonsense goings ons in Nigeria and culpable of Buhari's allegations but the manner of his sack is an equal, if not greater desecration of the constitution and whatever strands of nationalistic fabric that holds Nigeria together as a country.

Buhari should show he's a greater statesman than Goodluck Jonathan and simply resign instead of waiting to be disgraced at the polls that might not hold this Saturday.
One would have expected you to know that in account opening, all that's needed is your signature and photo and for a high networth individual, the forms can be brought to your house for you to complete and taken to the bank on your behalf.

We have seen bullion vans deliver cash to individuals at home

I am not talking about bribe or not. Most of us are guilty of collecting or giving bribe sometimes in the past. So I don't play holier than thou. I am just responding to your comment on the value of $30k as at 2009. Thanks.

How did you know how he got the money. Did you interrogate him before accepting to open the account with the money?

The question is, was that the opening balance , was it 10 years ago ? If the answer is Yes then they should leave the man alone , $30k is little

No matter what they will have to prove its bribe money before they can remove the CJN.
One $30,000 in 2009 @ then exchange rate of #145 =#4,350,000. (four million, three hundred and thirty five thousand naira only).
So we can all see these guys are a joke. A whole Justice of the supreme court cant afford to save up to 4,350,000? but Buratai can save up over 350,000,000 to build properties worth Millions of dollars.

Thank God we still have people with brain in their skull in this country.

Poverty had made a whole lot of people stupid.

Why are you people so brainless....

With this simple explanation, isn't it obvious that its excusable for the CJN to have accumulated so much...

When one SAN make a case for government and government was suppose to settle him 70million as legal charge

Or the SAN who has left over of 30, 000 dollars for medical bonus, holiday allowance or seminar trips....

The same esta code Buhari enjoys galavanting all over the world for whatever reason, be it health, foreign trips or whatever allowance...

You are shouting Sai Baba! Tell me, how much do you buy your foolishness....
