I know and I have said it that APC can never win a free and fair election without rough hand tactics. Tinubu is the worst political leader ever and that's why Lagos state indigenous are slaves in their own land. Tinubu is an economic vampire who has almost sucked Lagos to stupor. All the campaigns being mounted against SARAKI should have been directed at TINUBU for his oppressive and brazen stealing in Lagos.
How can any sensible government arrest a candidate on the eve of an election?
The arrest to say the least is an invitation to anarchy. No reasonable people will fold their hands in the face of tyranny. Unfortunately, we have a President whose government has been hijacked by desperadoes who are using state apparatus to oppress and silence the opposition. This oppression must end and I am sure it will end this weekend iJn

You read so many comments and the only thing is to laugh, I am from kwara state and live in kwara state, the convoy of APC senatorial candidate in kwara south was directly aimed at with guns from the house of the women leader of PDP in ojoku the home town of Rafiu Ibrahim where APC went for campaign, the woman was arrested and made confessions, the APC candidate for fear of rancor didn't go to ojoku before the postponement of the last week but after the postponement he decided to go but two of his boys were killed and you expect the police to leave him because it is the eve of the election

The imo disqualification is an APC internal matter of a cheated APC member taking the party to court for illegality. So how does it relate here. Meanwhile,the arrested senator is based on hear say and APC script. But they will be shocked tomorrow.

"The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) demands the immediate and unconditional release of our Kwara South Senatorial candidate, Senator Rufai Ibrahim and other members of the party framed-up, arrested and detained by the Police in Kwara state.

The PDP holds that the continued detention of Senator Ibrahim on the eve of a crucial election, in which he is a lead contender, is completely provocative.

The party also cautions the police to stop harassing, arresting and detaining its members on flimsy charges, as such will directly pitch security agents against the people in a manner that might spark off violent resistance with regrettable consequences.

In cases like this the question should be, What did he do? If there is an alleged crime there should be an arrest. Let us not politicise everything......what if the victims are your relatives, so you will agree with police that they are waiting after election before making arrest? Haba!!!!
