I think it's for the best that they didn't come. They'd probably only just air scenes of where people were carrying ballot boxes and that's the image the world will have of us not knowing that elections were peaceful in almost all the polling booths. |

Elections were postponed. If they had made their plans and the date changed, do you think they would return when they would have already planned to be somewhere else at the time it was rescheduled to? Westerners generally plan everything. Having said that, I would have expected that they have permanent correspondents in Nigeria who would have at least reported something. I watched Aljazeera and didn’t switch to CNN so can’t say what they reported or not. 1 Like |
