The oyedepos, oyakhilomes have friends in high places(foreign govts, judiciary, legislature and security systems) that will help them escape any persecution or whisk them out of this country at moments notice. But when you the poor masses are systematically rigged out of jobs because of religious and ethnic affiliations, when your farms are ravaged and your wives defiled, your children taken hostages who would be your voice?

The church does not have military to guard your lives or properties when an evil govt comes hard on your lives. It only has prayers and the capacity to vote. I hope y'all voted well in this elections.....

And all the ills you mentioned in your post concerning Yobe, Zamfara etc was not happening under a Christian President Jonathan? How about all the killings in Aba or Onitsha due to rituals or armed robbery

How does this solve youth unemployment or graduate unemployment in Nigeria?

They should create factories to engage jobless school leavers instead of creating more church branches.

Most of these pastors are morally bankrupt and grossly irresponsible.

But Bishop Oyedepo keep posting them to their various outlet ministry.

There is also TRIBALISM in Bishop Oyedepo church as majority of their pastors are from the south western part of Nigeria specifically from yorubaland.

Here we are celebrating building of churches and high number of pastors

In 10 years time, when African countries would be celebrating great milestones. We will be celebrating church auditoriums and business men in suits/jalamia. If only Buhari can close down all these business centres disguised as churches/mosques.

Good but it is not the news we expect to hear at this point in time. Our top Pastors have failed us. If Oyedepo, Kumuyi, Adeboye, Oyakhilome and many others have come together to address the state of the nation and do in house campaign to remove this terrorist, I believe the election results would have been different. There are Pastors that even campaign for APC. What a shame. Buy new properties and the herdsmen will come one day and raze them down unless God intervenes to prevent the second term of Buhari.

Let me tell you something you don't know. The churches have already failed in this regard. If the heads of churches were close to their members, they don't need an interview to know who is capable of leading a church or not. They should know and coupled with the direction of God.

If I tell you my experience in this same church when I went to Ghana, I swear you might never go to a church again but I just realised true Christianity is in each individual heart of man and not in the church.

Mr man the church has nothing to do with the corruption, greed and selfishness of Nigerians that have ruined our country, more religious countries than us are doing wonders
The church preach Christ simple they have a divine obligation to nuture believers, and preach the gospel to as many people as possible simple.
