Phd should be the criteria for presidential candidates while masters should be the requirement for senetors(State and federal level) and governorship aspirants.

Local government chairmen and the rest should have a bachelor's degree.

We are too educated over here to be rule with a WAEC certificate.

I agree because most illiterates vote on sentiment without knowledge of candidates ability to deliver policies beneficial to the nation.

No. It's FSLC - First School Leaving Certificate

Because even the SSCE Cert. of Mr. President is questionable.

Going to be educated in schools is just a waste of time and resources.

I sincerely think we should up the standards. The bar is too low. I wonder what most organizations would become if the standard was SSCE.

Wrong idea. First of all, before you tinker with such an idea, you have to ensure illiteracy of an individual is SOLELY THEIR CHOICE and no one else's. The implication of that is EDUCATION MUST BE FREE UP TO THE SSCE LEVEL!!

You think your country has the resources to do that at this point in time?

In the north and elsewhere in Nigeria, most states gives free education up to secondary school level. The govt schools that collects fees collects almost nothing as school fees from their students. Secondary education in Nigeria is the cheapest in the world

You said *up to secondary level*. Your topic says SSCE. Can you please tell me a SINGLE STATE in the federation that runs education for free up to SS3? I am waiting for that info.

In addition, you say secondary education in Nigeria is the cheapest in the world, CAN YOU PROVIDE EVIDENCE FOR THIS CLAIM? You want a debate so let us deal with verifiable facts and not imaginary ideas. I'm waiting for the evidence of this claim.

Lastly, do you realise there are folks in this country whose family don't make up to 20k monthly? With an average 9f three kids and a wife (not even mentioning other dependants), how can such families afford education if IT ISNT TOTALLY FREE?

Oga, talk.

WASSCE is the least requirement And nt the highest requirement.
Do you even recognize any other qualifications except Back and it's likes?

Did u even know that there are many other qualifications aside that?

Did you even understand what professional qualification is?

So, in your dreams, because PMB got only WASSXE, he's uneducated? Even though he went thru military school, War veterans schools abroad as his profession demands, then yes uneducated to you.

With your University eduction, can u bring up a strategy to win a war? Fight at the war front?

You no get sense at all.

Pretty sure the emboldened is about your uncle.

I don't know one has to be a graduate in English Language to get his/her tenses right. Something a JSS 3 student will do effortlessly.

The use of some conjunctions are very debatable, but "concord" in English grammar is extensively treated at O Level. Besides, it is you that is talking about educational qualification even though you are at zero.
