Not so sir. It takes 2/3 of 109 Senators to pass any bill or Government proposal. 2/3 of 109 is I think 72. Buhari will still need the agreement of PDP to pass his bills into law.

Please read section 56 sub section 2 of our constitution

Guy. Senate majority leader and speaker of house of representatives can't come from the same state.
They will drag it with tinubu.

If jagaban insist on Femi as speaker.

Then Senate majority leader should be given to any of these senators.

Actually only SE did bloc voting and even at that abia, imo and even ebonyi gave buhari over 25%, SS didnt block vote, edo, delta, rivers gave between 45-30% if they had given block votes the difference between pdp and apc would have been less than 1 mil-200,000 and atiku will have a good case in court.

Besides, election has been won it is time to carry the whole country along not to start playing the stupid politics of 95 vs 5%. If apc plays that kind of politics they will fracture the country along ethnic line.

That is why i still maintain that a core northerner cant be SP, it will be a imbalance of power and that is the perfect recipie for agitation and shouts of maginalisation.
