A 52-year-old man who defiled and impregnated his niece, has been arrested by the operatives of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC in Ekiti State. The man who impregnated his niece, has reportedly had carnal of her for 3 years. Dennis Kiyeve began abusing his niece, shortly after she started living with him in 2013 at Ilupeju village in the Gbonyin Ekiti Local Government Area of the state following her mother’s death in Benue State.


He reportedly deflowered and impregnated the girl, and conspired to kill her in order to cover his track.The girl who was 12 when her uncle started abusing her in 2016, is now 15 and according to her, “any attempt to refuse may result in hunger, punishment and deprivation of school fees.” She aborted her first pregnancy in 2016, and is allegedly pregnant for her uncle again. “Medical examination had shown that fibroid tumour is growing along with the baby and is capable of hindering the development of the foetus.”
