There is nothing supernatural about this. It is simply the Tumbu maggot. Either your cloths were dried and brought in after dark (because the fly lays eggs on the cloth at dusk) or you lay somewhere that was infested and the worm hatched and entered your body.

It once did me, after I sat down on a cement slab with bare legs. It looked like a boil but a biting pain accompanied it. It was actually quite painful and I was applying rubb on it, during which I noticed the pain would get sharper.
Two days later, I was determined to get out the 'pus' and get relief, especially when I noticed it had a 'face'. I pressed and behold, a wriggling worm. It died shortly after.

It's not maggot. It a Bit Fly Larvae. It only uses mammals body as host. Children do have it a lot of times and most especially when they play with moist sand.

My daughter had that once when she was 3. She was placed on antibiotics and the worms were forced after days. I remember watching her writhe in discomfort and all night long and there was little we could do about it . Thank God it all ended in praise.
