Many cyborg scenes filmed by Zack were cut including his origin. It's easy blaming the man cos we d0n't kn0w his side of the story. Hollyw0od sucks you kn0w. No 1 blames the studio executive for the final cut of the m0vie but the director who was only seeking to make ends meet by doing what his bosses requested. I believe Snyder's creative intellect would be revealed should he produce by his l0nes0me an independent film free of external c0ntrol.

I think Zack's version was literally supposed to still grow into the full version as the cinematic universe goes on. But that dream didn't see the light, obviously.

So sad. They've learned a great deal in Aquaman not to interfere in creative activities next time. I really hope Shazam stays true to the original ideas.

TV Cyborg has more depth and personality than movie Cyborg.

there's already a DC Films division at WB but it isn't fully independent as Geoff Johns who was leading it back then in 2016 had to report back to WB's president. after JL was released, DC Films cabinet was reshuffled and Walter Hamada was appointed its head after Geoff Johns stepped down to Run his own production company which will also produce future dceu movies like Green Lantern.
Rn, Hamada is using a director-driven mandate for the franchise and said future films will focus on developing individual characters rather than a shared universe.

I think Snyder is to take 40 percent of the blame while WB takes 60 percent.

MoS===good film by Snyder: a good intro for a cinematic universe.

BvS: bad story telling, bad cgi and a director who doesn't understand his characters. However, top notch casting: ZS is to blame for everything wrong with BVS. Only place I blame WB here is reducing the film's runtime.

JL; WB should have taken a chill pill after the reception of BvS and learned 1 or 2 things but they were stuck up on creating a universe: shooting began before BvS completed its theatrical run. Provided WW and AQman had come out before JL, the reception would have been better. Add to that slashing of its run time.

Cool. I just hope for their "independence" so they can run things their own way. The animations are crazy dopeand look at stuff the DC universe section is dishing out mehn!

This Cyborg in Doom Patrol is unlike anything in the comic. I watched it yesterday and he doesn't have the aura of Cyborg. He doesn't even behave like a cyborg. The characterization is flawed. I still prefer Ray Fisher's cyborg.
