The recent endorsement by the sociocultural organization Ohaneze Ndigbo of the Lagos APC guber candidate did not go down for free.

The Igbo Apex group demanded that 6 of its members be appointed to the cabinet of the APC Guber candidate Jide Sanwoolu, if he eventually emerges Governor.

This was given as the condition to support the APC candidate ahead of the March 9 Guber, following attacks on Igbo communities in the aftermath of the just concluded presidential elections.

Ohaneze Ndigbo revealed its intention and condition to support the APC's candidate at a town hall meeting in Lagos on Sunday, chaired by its Lagos State leader, Solomon Ogbonna.

You have millions of non-yorubas in Lagos, why concentrate on Igbos, it's not as if they are related to any of the contestants...

The problem is, even if the Igbos don't even come out to vote on that day, every vote ascribed to any other candidate aside the APC stooge... you would still call it Igbo vote.

Agbaje has never played tribal politics, same as Gbadamosi... Sanwo-olu wore the Igbo regalia same as Agbaje, aswell as other wears of different tribes but you just can't have enough of Igbo.
