Go to sabon gari kano and other parts of the north and see Igbos living and doing businesses there!

Before Igbos can have the right to prevent other tribes from living and doing businesses in southeast, they must have totally left other regions and returned home to igboland.
You can't be living and thriving in other people's lands while chasing away people of other tribes from your region. Na only you get sensehuh

Some of you need to brace up with reality of things in Nigeria! I was in your shoes until I took a critical look at things. Some of you need to pause and think critically!

It is better for government to provide lands in areas where the herdsmen and their activities can easily be regulated than the current situation where they go about fighting with local farmers unregulated! Think!
Err.....there are Northerners with businesses and homes all over the SE. So these narratives many clowns are spinning here is obviously mischievous. Herdsmen have given themselves a bad reputation as murderous marauders and pillagers and have been ranked as the 3rd deadliest terrorist group in the world. Their arrival in any community would be unsettling for obvious reasons. Their security threat is the reason most communities in the South (including many idiots from the SW here trying to score cheap points) wouldn't like to cede any land for a notoriously troublesome group.
Also, if Northerners have a right to brag about destroying billions of naira worth of alcohol, mostly by Igbo distributors due to their regressive laws, you have zero moral right to lecture us about what Northern businesses we should permit in our communities.

That is why it is better to provide a regulated grazing area for them! Currently you have them scattered all over local communities in igboland where they fight with local farmers and destroy crops! And I wonder what you have done about that other than rant here!

If both federal and state government fail to urgently work together to provide these grazing lands, the herdsmen will continue to penetrate our local communities and there's nothing you or any other person ranting on this thread can do about it.

A protest was sparked on Sunday morning by angry villagers in Anam community, Anambra West local government area of the state.

The aggrieved villagers took to the streets to agitate after it was claimed that the king sold community land to the Fulani herdsmen for cattle grazing.

This was said to have resulted to a clash between the youths of the community and the herdsmen.

Last year, the people of Amichi in Nnewi South Local Government Area, Anambra State, decided not to take any chance after some Fulani herdsmen ‘pitched their camp’ in their community.

The herdsmen had arrived the town and wanted to graze their cattle but the villagers refused and chased the told them out of the community.

Watch the video below.

Last week we were shown images of cows on BRT lanes in Lagos. In 1996 Buba Marwa gave an ultimatum to herdsmen using agbo malu in Marine beach area to vacate. The herdsmen thought he was joking. When the realised that they could not pacify him, they moved their cows to Oko Oba abattoir where they have remained till this day. That was ranching. Before then Lagos always experiencef problems with herdsmen.

Please why won't the government and people of Lagos allow cows roam freely on the streets again. This way people can experience the rage of the cow men. When you drive and cows with stick wielding sticks obstruct your way, even on the expressway.

Those who have not seen the areas of destruction by these herdsmen should please ask for information at least to know how the affected feel.

Fayose was not stupid or being political when he dealt with the issue in Ekiti. Now Fayemi enjoys that peace and will not permit any herdsman killing in Ekiti as an APC governor. Ortom in Benue state had to do something about it too.

If the federal government is sincere enough the herdsmen can be made to establish their own ranches. Government has to prove to us that there is no sinister arrangement to grab lands in captured areas.

what ever you called it, anyway since you said we don't have kings but warrant officers, i can tell you that this particular warrant officer is lucky enough, if i was their i would have demanded that the so called
warrant officer be castrated, this would send strong signal to his likes who would want to repeat the same in future, that you don't sell communities land entrusted to you without there notice.

that's pure hatred from those men towards the fulanis...the king is the leader of that community and has the traditional right to sell the land he owns, except it belongs to individual.

the anger and outrage is because the land is sold to a Fulani man.....
Sorry but we don't run such government, in igbo land even the king can't sell any community property without the knowledge of the people in the cabinet

I'm not arguing about whether it is better to provide them a "regulated grazing area". I'm showing the reason why their attempts to settle in any area would always be unsettling to local communities. And I'm contrasting this with the silly emotional blackmail about how Igbos are allowed to buy land elsewhere when they won't allow it in their own land: as if other Northerners don't do business in the SE. The difference is obvious: we don't go around with AK's and cutlasses to massacre communities that host us. If the herdsmen ran a peaceful enterprise, no one would be trying to stop them acquiring land.

stop using sentiments all the time... Stop being judgemental. If yorubas behaved in such manner do you think those igbo people with landed property in Lagos will have them?
all the Yoruba ranting over this issue don't have a single property in Lagos they are either a tenant in igbo man house or in their fellow Yoruba man, Yoruba man is weak and lazy and can sell anything on sight, Yoruba man will leave his father virgin land in Osun state or Ekiti and come to lagos for greener pastures, the next thing you will see them doing is to start telling people to go back to their state that Lagos belongs to them, now my question is this, the virgin land left in his state Osun or Ekiti who's owns it, go back to ur bush. Did you see anybody fighting over Osun, Ekiti, Ondo, Ogun or Oyo. Lagos belongs to all of us federal government of Nigeria and all hard working Nigerians followed to build the state, all the big infrastructures was all build by federal government, if any westerner are claiming any state they should claim the state mentioned therein.

You must be outta your darn mind. Until you send those fulani cowjockeys who kidnapped Olu falae after burning down his farmland, I'll not take you seriously.
Dumbo, kidnapping isn't a confrontational fight. The main confrontational fight was the flogging of your Eze in Akure. Now tell your stupid family to come and do something about it.

Why are you following me around on here after I schooled you and T9sky about the events of civil war sometime last year?

Anyway, I'll not take your amala and ewedu women organization seriously until they do something about the destructive herdsmen ravaging the Southwest.

Until then, keep your homoerotic fingers and fantasies off my comments.

We don reject them bros sell your land give them better person
It is a mistake your igbo ancestors such as Nnamdi Azikiwe & Co. made by removing the succession clause from the 1960 constitution in order for all the tribes to remain together which was meant for thier selfish interest not factoring possible future reconsiderations, so don't take out your fury on me, argue with your history teacher.

How many times have igbos kidnapped yorubas like olu falae, drag him on the ground, burn his farm and collect ransom to release him?
But countless times the igbos have spear headed armed robbery, imported fake drugs, open baby factories, collabo with chinese manufacturers to produce fake electronics, engage in 419 businesses, and so on and so forth.
