I will answer this to the best of my knowledge:

1. Yes, you all need to be present

2. Yes, as long as you are submitting a passport, you will do biometrics

3. Walk in

4. It is "safer" to take your passport inside VFS though it is more expensive.

What do you mean by submission process? Online or submitting at VFS?

Nice one! Giving biometrics depends on age however.

If you will be taught in French, then you need to show a proficiency in the language.

Justification for the travel not provided. After providing itinerary in a tabular form that states locations times fee and hours to spend in those areas per day and with a tour arrangements. 4.8million balance self employed. Paid hotel. Ok. This basically means you did not produce a solid tie to Nigeria to ascertain your return.

Paraphrasing -
You have all the right documents and funds to travel but you did not give us enough reason/evidence to why you would want to return back to Nigeria after your stay elapses .

Thanks a lot David. You have answered all my questions. All I need to do is filled the form online for all family members individually and print all out. Then sort the questionnaires for each at VFS.

Submission will be at VFS with all supporting document I believe?

Thanks a lot

My wife only and the kids 5 and 2. I will not be going to France with them due to work. But will be the sponsor of the trip, hope that will serve as family tie with other documents

Will the Kids need Biometrics also or just my wife?

A quick clarification pls, my wife is a school teacher and already have a valid UK Visa including I and the kids and the idea is just to visit Disneyland for 2 days with a train from London as part of their Easter trip, but I won't be going with them due to work at the time, so I won't be applying for the French Visa. I will only be serving as full sponsor of the trip. Hope this won't lead to a denial for them since I won't be applying with them, but will attach copies of my past Visas to Shengen, US and UK, account Statement, accommodation booking, Insurance for them, cover letter to explain why I won't come with prove of work documents, Disneyland tour booking, train or flight booking from London, Business Documents CAC, Employment letter from her school and my place of work, pension statement, Investment statement, Landed Documents, the Kids school related documents, etc??

What other documents do I need to add to prevent denial as all she has is her employment and confirmation letter from the school, letter of introduction to the French Embassy, and Mutual Fund Account.

I will appreciate a solid feed back as I intend applying by next week. Would have applied with them, but need my passport for work before the 14th March and not comfortable if the passport will be out before the said date.

Thanks in Advance.

I doubt if they will grant you visa to study French in France, they usually refer people who want to study French to go to other French speaking countries closer to them. For your case Benin Republic is close to Nigeria and you will be most likely referred there. My candid advice is this 'don't go and waste your visa application fee'.

If I may ask, why do you want to study French?

I have an A2, but I want to attain the B2 level the French way. I need it too for my study in Switzerland or France in subsequent years.

B2 in French that's got in Nigeria or Benin Republic is the same got in France. So B2 is standard.

I really want to thank the house as the lead posts helped my application. Please help interprete the attached slip on the visa. I just wanted to spend the Christmas holiday with my family in Paris.

To all the gurus in the house, I strongly need your candid advice.
Please I want to apply for France visit visa for me & my wife alone though, we've all gone to Tanzania once on a family vacation our daughter inclusive; my wife have also been to UAE and Ghana while I was in Ethopia once. I've got a good statement to support our applications.

I hope the exclusion of our daughter won't raise any dust?

please advice

So sad I recieved the same visa refusal letter this morning despite my high hopes.
I had all my documents intact and my company was my sponsor. I had been following this thread and taking note of all the documents i will be needing and made sure i submitted all at Vsf office. My Concern is do this VOfficers just refuse visas based on their mood or personal discretion. cos truth be told i gave it 100% of my physical and financial input into this and someone just decides to refuse a visa because they feel your purpose of visit is not justified even after confirming that all your documents are valid! Really depressing.

you don't need to book appointment with CampusFrance, go to either of their offices for interview; after which, you can proceed to the French Embassy or VFS to submit your application if possible that same day.
