Prof well done.
Please i would like to adjust the fuel consumption of my spg 3000,
is the circled screw the same as the one you placed your screw driver on the pic?

Secondly someone such act cannot be done on my junior max, is this correct?
I have both Gene
Thanks
the black one, start the generator (you know the difference between tighting and loosing) what you are to do is lose the black screw the speed will be reducing to your required choice. I just did mine this evening.

I'd advise you don't mess with your Tec Jr Max. Use it as it is. Been using mine for 9 months, I didn't need to do of any that - fuel consumption is great.

You can adjust the Sumec Firman, not sure how much you need to, though. Prof might have something to say about that.

Thanks padi
Appreciate

I already bought a Sumec in SPG1800. I bought from an authorized dealership and it's under warranty. So far so it's serving me well. Although I did experience lots of burning the first week. I replaced my charger 3 times, bulbs and landholder cheesy grin

Mine is noisy too..... It depends on its position. If you use it in an open environment you won't notice that...... But it's much noisier in the balcony
Re: Professor On Any Type Of Generator. by Coldheavens: 6:38pm On Mar 10, 2019
Hello house, Hello prof! You guys are doing a wonderful job. I am trying to get a generator this week and I need you guys knowledge to decide.
The gen is to power a 1.5hp AC, 40inch TV, 4 energy saving bulbs and a mini fridge. I have a sumec firman 3000 penned for this but my AC technician advised not to use a generator (except Mikano) to power the AC as it will destroy the AC unit and gen itself. So I am thinking of getting the the thermo junior max instead since I won't be powering my AC with it. What do you guys think about what the technician said?

Yes, it consumes fuel depending on the load on it. Remember the rated capacity(Tec Junior Max) is 1000W, therefore, make sure the total load on it doesn't exceed 900W to make sure you enjoy your gen on a long term. I load less than 800W on mine, been using it for 9 months consistently with zero issues. I change my oil every 2 weeks, because I use mine quite a lot at nothing less than 10hrs daily for the 9 months I have been using it.

Also, turn off everything before turning on your generator, then turn on your appliances/electronics one by one from highest capacity to lowest capacity. If you want to use your medium fridge on it, make sure that comes on first.

Enjoy.

Response on this please. Don't want to buy this TEC and not be able to power fridge well.

I will advice you go for something higher than 1000W. On the TEC Gen Wattage Guide, For Junior Max it listed it could power ten pieces of 18W energy saving bulbs, 200W TV, 2 Ceiling fans(which could be either 75 or 90W), one 75W home theater system and then 150L Fridge.

The surest way to know if this gen is suitable for you is to take a pen, list all your appliances and electronics along with their rated wattage, if the total running wattages exceeds a maximum of 900W, know this is not the gen for you

Hope this helps. .
