These are my investigation on the incident.

(1) The blood spill on the wall doesn't correspond with the hand he held with the gun.
Because had it been he shot himself, I believe the gun would have been in his left hand.

(2) Again Had it been he shot himself, the vibration of the body would have remove the cigarette from his hand.

(3)Again Had it been he shot himself, the force of the gun bullet would have pushed him to the left side on the ground.

(4) Again Had it been he shot himself, the gun should have fallen out from his hand as he fell on the ground.

That's my explanation to the incident, so from my investigation I have confirmed that the victim was murdered
