franchasng:Igbos don't play any huge part. What played out was a fight between Christians who thought they were resisting Muslim rule embodied by Buhari. Every of my friends, many of who attend Winners Durumi and Dunamis where all for PDP, not because they like Atiku, but because they see PDP as a Christian party. To many of them, it was a battle between APC (Muslim) vs PDP (Christian). I can bet that there were more non-Igbo voters than Igbo voters during the presidential elections in Abuja. |

Lyoncrescent:since 2015, no one was talking about this "no man's land" of a thing, ur politicians and some miscreants just brought up the topic to cause commotion in Lagos and turn Yoruba and Igbo against themselves. As u can see, even those Yoruba people who supported Agbaje as of last year have decided to vote for Sanwo Olu all because of hate towards the Igbo which was propagated by tribal bigots in Yoruba land. You all should remember that whether u uplift Agbaje or humiliate Agbaje, he is still ur brother and son and it has no effect on any other ethnic group, u people are only doing yourselves. |

dyydxx1:I know the next thing in your little mind is Dangote, Otedola, Adenuga, kids lolz ![]() We are talking about numbers not one man squad, learn learn! There are four or five major market and trade centers in Lagos, namely; Idumota, Trade Fair/Balogun/Auto-Parts, Alaba Intl Market (featured many times on CNN & Aljazeera), Ladipo Spare Parts Market, Ikeja Computer village, and one other one for building materials at Apapa & Orile, and 70 - 80% of these markets are owned and dominated by Igbos! Go to Lekki from phase 1 - 2, to Lekki County Gardens to Nycon Town to Queens Street to even Banana Island, Igbos are the majority owners of lands and properties in these choice areas of Lagos. Go to Amuwo Odofin, Igbos have developed swamps into amazing estates, from Okota stretching towards Festac its now an Igbo city looking like Ikoyi. Where do I start or end ![]() 20 - 35% of the tall buildings in Victoria Island is owned by Igbos, I can name them for you because I have classified info, so what are trying to argue for ![]() Dangote might be the richest man, but Igbos as a single tribe have the highest number of millionaires in the whole of Nigeria, you know the truth. One Iroko does not make a forest. Dangote is one Iroko, same with few Yoruba billionaires, but wealth is spread across all Igbo families and communities. That's why Igbos don't worship one rich person cos every family or community in Igbo land have their own Iroko ![]() |

Congrats to my in coming Governor Sanwo-Olu as the new Lagos governor though I love Ambode with passion but I believe Tinubu has never failed us. Tinubu is a legend that produce legends and I believe in his political philosophy for Yoruba development. An altruistic leader like Tinubu is inevitable in modern politics in order to guarantee consistency for rapid development. Mr JImi Agbaje our regular customer and IPOB candidate in Lagos can not come and destabilize Lagos for us. Congrats to incoming Ogunbstate governor Dapo Abiodun. As well as Oyo and Kwara state governor |

prince3009:hahahahahahaha pls ooo, that is the Yoruba history oooo Their ancestor fell from the sky and slammed his head on the ground. He was one of demons God sent out of heaven together with Satan. Now u have seen another "glass plate" history of Lagos, u better leave it like that lol Even the name "Yoruba" means a very terrible thing. |

BluntBoy:Which everyone? The problem Ndigbo have had with the northerners since 1970 is mainly about religion and it rarely occurs. The problem Yoruba have with Igbo is envy, simply envy. U guys develop envy not just towards Igbo alone but towards other ethnic groups. |

nnamdijonathan:mm I get where you are coming from but these people you refer to are the exception not the rule and as such are in the minority. I and most yorubas i know don't hate igbos. We love them . Their business savvy attitude and soups and ofcourse beautiful ladies. What we can both do is enlighten the radicals who are in the minority and Breed togetherness. There are some of my Yoruba friends who vote for Agbaje simply because they want to bring down the tinubu oligarchy. Others vote for reasons best known to them . But I believe a man is a man and an angel is an angel; during the presidential election, few people taunted some of us in the polling unit by saying Lagos is a no man's land and that they own Lagos and all. Spoke with them after voting and explained my original stand that we can all be Lagosians but no need for inciteful statements and we debated it and became friends afterwards. Some yorubas in the same place also said that igbos are arrogant . However these are in the minority. It won't be fair to use the opinion of the outspoken minority to cloud that of the silent majority . I agree politicians have tried to use division for their selfish reasons but we need to rise above that . Eko O ni baje. |
