Brother, Politics is local. If your tribe keep showing they are against anything the majority of Yorubas are in support, there will always be problem. He could not instigate division in Oyo state just because PDP won there right? And its Oyo state that recorded number of violence in Yoruba States during this election.
When election comes, go out and vote according to your personal conviction, not hatred induced block votes. That's Yoruba people for you. But can that be said of Igbo people?
I live in Anambra, I can tell you that if governorship election is conducted today in Anambra, Obiano will not win, in a state he won without problem just over a year ago. What has changed?
