Ameachi and Wike has personal and long standing Rift to settle.
The same Wike in 2015 was using the same army police and militants to lock up APC members, writing and declaring results.
GEJ was the president.
Today the table has turned and Amaechi wants a PAYBACK.
Wike and PDP is Rigging, Amaechi and AAC is rigging. So whats all this noise about??
Rivers state is peaceful, everybody is going about the normal businesses.

Right from when Amaechi declared his support for AAC candidate Sowore has shown disapproval. He clearly said AAC does not want any affiliations.
It is sad how Nigerians are quick to forget, I remember vividly 2015 elections that brought Wike to power was also militarized like this, several supporters of APC were suppressed and killed by soldiers and thugs.
I am not trying to justify the killings going on right now but to be sincere both Wike and Amaechi are desperados that chose their ambitions over the people of Rivers, when you have two cultists of as leaders in one State this is what you get.

The fact is that Wike is chosen by the people of Rivers State to lead them by a large majority. Almost 80-90% of the Rivers people want him. So whether we feel the State is better of without Wike does not count. The people's choice supersedes our individual wishes.

The issue in Rivers state is beyond PDP And APC. It's between two cultists Wike and Amechi. Amechi said and I quote in 2007, that he owes gratitude to his friend and brother Wike who worked tirelessly to make sure he wins the election. He had his tenor, 2 terms! Only to decamp to APC instead of supporting his own brother like he said and ensure he wins. Wike had military backup and used it to win by any means! So the war began.
The issue right now is Rivers people are happy with Wike but hate Amechi with passion, he's seen as the Judas of Rivers state who wants to sell his people to Buhari and they will never have APC rule Rivers state. In all these, many lives where lost. Rivers people are afraid to vote because of the presence of the military so the best rigger wins. But Amechi lacked wisdom, and thought he could use an unknown party to pull Wike down and bring shame on him. Not even APGA! At the end of the day neither Wike or Amechi could have their way. Las Las na to declare state of emergency for this town. Because I don't think Wike will step down or leave without a fight. And if it gets too bloody and the military massacre the people, the Era of militancy will return then we are back to where we where 12 years ago. Only difference is Nigeria will be fighting two wars this time and I have never seen any country fight two wars at the same time not to mention a developing country like Nigeria.

During the last presidential election, if there was a young man I admired and wanted dearly to win as the president of Nigeria was Sowore, and one thing that tickles my admiration for him was how dogged he has been all this years and he had my support, from my Facebook wall and my interaction with other political analyst I did not hide it, because I saw him to be a new breed.
Today I am doubting that trust I had on him, if he does not condemn what his party and Amechi is doing in Rivers state. it is totally undemocratic and I am waiting to see Sahara reporter's reaction on this very incidence.
