See Ibadan below. Can any of your SE houses match the design and the serenity of the place. Even the New house you often build are so horrible to look at, especially with their conical comical roofing and straight up building like museums. Lol. Village people feeling funky.

When I look at pictures of a place, I don't even need anyone to tell me before I know if it's a SE region or not.

Another classical example is in Rivers and Akwa Ibom states. Amaechi worked well while in government and I use to love him until he disrespected GEJ, disrespecting a senior is terrible line to tow. Also, aligning with failure (Buhari), then using the military(mostly northerners) to intimidate and kill Rivers people will never go well with the masses. Akpabio threaten war on his people, and he received the booth.

As you can see, the eyes of the masses are now open. Let APC remove the tribalism and hatred embedded in it, then we can talk.


BTW, I will support Fashola any day, Oshomole any day; these are the people in APC we should prop up.

Ibadan is an old city where the old merged with the new. We are proud of having such heritage unlike the Ibos who were still living in huts and on tree tops. Some of the Ibos are still living in hut today.

I don't blame you, if you have visited the North and spent some time there, you would have realized that Buhari has no single challenger there. It's only ignorance that makes the Rat challenge the Cat to a battle. see for your information, if elections are conducted in the North 1million times, Buhari will still win against any northern politician. You think they value thieves up there the way thieves are valued down south? look at what is happening to Ganduje, if not for that video of him collecting bribe he would have swept the state. Why do think a lot of people hate Atiku even his own kinsman? Buhari has a simple life, you don't see him with lavish wealth even though he has it, and that is how majority of the northerns like him, same with Umar Musa YarAdua. Guys like IBB, even Dangote will lose if he contest in the North I have to be sincere with you.

Those guys are just dont really know what they are saying. Even Kwankwaso himself cannot get 40% in Kano if it was against Buhari. In fact ganduje would have won comfortably if not for that damning video if you look at the margin between them.

If the news coming from Imo state is credible then I give glory to God for his marvellous work. At last the weird party has left our promising land. Tufiakwa!! Thank God for his goodness. This is a rejection of poverty and failed promises. Let great Ndi Igbo rejoice with me on this thread.

This is a very myopic way of thinking. It is not yet time for Nigerians to vote for party or on party line. We are not there yet. People should vote for individuals that can deliver solutions notwithstanding political party affiliates. We need development and provision of social amenities. So parties and politicians must be made to understand that they can be changed by the people at any time. This would make political players to sit up and perform and the people would be the ultimate beneficiaries. Rejoicing that people continue to vote on party line despite consistent under performance and zero development is barbaric.

I think the North and the SW are playing real politics of development and not just voting on sentiment. They have their eyes on what matters, which is development. They give it to whoever fit the box every 4years irrespective of the party. I think that is the kind of politics I want for my people. Political system should be an instrument for social engineering. It is a tool to deliver solution. If any tool is no more useful for my need I should be smart enough to change it.

States like Anambra, Kano, Ekiti, Oyo and Lagos are on the path of development because of their pattern of voting over the years and the fact that politicians in those state have learn a lesson from the electorate that antidote to retaining power is through development and good governance.

A state like Abia is definitely in for more hard time based on electorates response to monumental failure in governance. It beats my imagination that that governor is returned. It is a grave mistake for electorates to continue on party line in Africa despite visible lack of performance.
