You probably make sense to yourself but I bet you would want your pregnant wife to be helped if she finds herself in a situation where she needs it.

When I was pregnant, I didn't beg for preferential treatment but I got it. Security men at the ATM machine won't let me queue, cars stopped for me to cross, men stood up for me to sit. Thank God for the gentlemen we still have around. They exist even in this country.
