A young Ghanaian man has been left in total disarray after the car he car he borrowed to attend funeral burnt to ashes in the middle of the journey.

In a video circulating across social media, the man was seen crying and lamenting as the car which had burst into flames continued burning.

Man weeps as car he borrowed to attend funeral gets burnt on the road.

According to the young man who was in funeral attire, the car was not his but for somebody and he had just borrowed it to attend a funeral.

Some people who witnessed the unfortunate incident were around the man consoling him over the loss.

One guy was heard telling the man to take heart and feel lucky that he did not die in the incident.

Who knows if the person that gave him the car had not already planned evil for him. Like seriously who borrows his car out to someone anyway? He should thank God actually he did not burn with the car.

That is why it is not good to borrow someone's car for any form of an occasion. It is always good to ask the owner to go along with you. No explanation will heel the wound as people might try to tell the owner not to forgive the person. If the car is insured for a Comprehensive Insurance, and the driver has a valid license, the insurance company will settle by replacing the car, at this point, no one knows if the insurance covers a third party like the borrower. It is a dicey situation within the terms of the agreement.
