Earlier today, at the Iyana Ipaja axis of Alimosho local government area of Lagos state, some officials of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) and the police were spotted making temporal repairs to some failed portion of the road there.

They engaged in the repair work in order to ease the free and easy flow of traffic.

The exercise was captured at the at Moshalashi round-about inward Alimosho.

Kudos to these dedicated road traffic managers!

I believe what they are doing is a palliative measure on that road. I see that road getting spoiled when the rains starts dropping.

Believe me, the person, people who dropped those blocks there didn't actually placed them well is why the LASTMA guys are just shifting it.

Good job by the LASTMA officials.

However, that exercise does not fix the terrible state of that road. Proper road construction management should be carried out.

Nothing to commend here, they work for government and that's part of what they're being paid for. woulda commend them if they were washing motorists vehicles.

Good one, how I wish every uniform man can be like this.


After all not all uniform men are bad

this road has always been at its worst whenever it rained... its
connect iyana ipaja to ayobo estate and egbeda/ikotun axis but it's never been given any attention because it's not In the island or Lekki... people spend more time on the road to reach there destinations...i think the lspwc are docile and doesn't respond to road repairs...

This should be discouraged. I see nothing positive in their deed.

These ones na advance beggars. I agree with Bubu, we ain't only lazy to demand good governance, we also cowards.

This is like cutting the weed in the field just at the tip of the leaves. There's the police and other services. When they notice such deplorable portions of roads they're meant to engage the relevant road repairing agency. This is not their work, even if it were that's a super temporary measure, and they're aren't even dressed for it.
