Deadshot isn't meant to be a big bad bad guy per say. think of him as a civil servant whose job is to kill people. he does his job, goes back home and gets paid. He doesn't skim or fraud or want to take over or destroy the world, he just wants to make a living killing people.

WB hired Depp way before Amber Heard and the allegations. They didn't even look at the c0ntroversy before deciding on hiring Heard. Speak same for disney who fired Gunn for a statement he made years ago and dumping Depp once news broke out that he was violently abusing Heard, who evidently framed the whole thing up just to ruin him. Disney didn't waste time in casting Depp out like a leper. WB and even J. K Rowling defended him when the press made Depp to be the bad guy. WB gave Depp and Heard chances at redemption without playing politics. Say the same for disney. Even Bautista wants to dump disney and the Mcu, lol.
