Oga GoodJoe, meanwhile the coach you so much love is a wicked and callous man. Very insensitive, now he has made the coach of Schalke to lose his livelihood, couldn't his team had eased off on the gas in destroying Schalke? He did the same to Sarri and expected the poor man to shake his hand after the game, that one is still having sleepless nights about his job now. Tell your man to stop sending people to labor market, haba they should learn not to overflog issues, wetin sef?

I don't care who gets sacked I would always want my team to be ruthless because once u take ur foot off the gas I am a believer that it will carry into the next match.

Chance to see Olayinka against Chelsea. However am concerned he has been a reserve player with his team. How do you play in Czech Rep and be a substitute after doing very well in the Belgian league, my opinion though.

Slavia Prague has a wealthy owner so the pay is good.

The boy had offers from better leagues but decided to go to Czech Republic.

German clubs are eyeing Arsenal youngster Bukayo Saka.

The Sun says the Gunners risk losing the winger, 17, who has been watched by German scouts playing for the club's Under-23s and in his three first-team appearances this season.

Clubs are aware Saka cannot sign a new deal at the Emirates until he turns 18 in September.

The winger penned his first professional contract with the Gunners last year and was tipped by Arsenal's Acacemy manager Per Mertesacker for a great future at the club.

But he could now follow suit of other Brits flocking down to Germany, hoping for a similar career breakthrough Jadon Sancho made at Borussia Dortmund.

Definitely more than what he was offered elsewhere.

15k is good money for most players.

Bordeaux winger Samuel Kalu will miss Nigeria ’ s next two games due to injury , the Nigeria Football Federation ( NFF ) said on Friday.
The Super Eagles play the Seychelles in their last Africa Cup of Nations qualifier on March 22 then take on Egypt in a friendly four days later .
Nigeria are top of Group E on 10 points ahead of South Africa on 9, Libya on 7 and Seychelles on 1pt, with this weekend’ s match concluding the preliminary group round .
Both matches are due to be played in the southern city of Asaba .
Team spokesman Toyin Ibitoye said youth team captain Ikouwem Udoh , 19, would replace 21-year - old Kalu , whose mother was recently kidnapped and held for a week until a ransom was paid .
Udoh , who plays for club side Enyimba , is a left -back who has played for Nigeria ’ s home -based team, which lost in the final of last year’ s African Nations Championship to Morocco.
Nigeria coach Gernot Rohr has said he is keen to get more left -sided players into the squad in the run- up to the AFCON tournament in June .

My point has always been about exposure. Trencin beat Feyenoord earlier in the competition. Would you then recommend that Nigerian player go to Slovakia instead of Holland??

Better leagues give you a consistent level of competition weekly. That is needed to reach the top level.

Slavia Prague will be back playing the likes of Jablonec and banik.

Sevilla will be competing against Barca and the madrid clubs.

There is no doubt about who will be getting the more exposure and top competition.

Agreed without reservation

Bringing him in is a good idea no doubt but we know Gernot Rohr won't use him .
i mean why not invite Emmanuel Dennis or Chuba Akpom or try out another attacker probably a Nwakeme shld be given another chance.
I mean try out new players. Egypt is coming to play us with 10 uncapped players.
I was initially happy when I heard Kalu was injured because I felt it would give way to a new player buh instead he chose ikouwem who we all know he won't use

From what i saw at the under 20 competition, Udoh is not yet good enough for the super eagles. I would have preferred someone like Dennis drafted in.

The games are meaningless, why not try out fringe players?

There is a monumental difference between me saying that a MOTM awards is indicative and recognition of outstanding quality. And what you have stated in the bold is MISREPRESENTATION and intentionally MISLEADING.

I brought in the term CONTEXT. A player getting a MOTM award in Liverpool and Manchester city, with truly world class players all around you. Is a far greater recognition of quality as well as much much harder to achieve. In comparison to a lower level club and league.

In that context, l have watched Rotherham this is not a club playing good quality technical football like Derby County, West Bromwich, Aston Villa, Reading, Swansea, etc or we can go to league one where Sunderland, Peterborough and Charlton play good level technical football. And even descend to League 2 where MK Dons still play good quality technical football in a very physical huff and puff, endeavour kick and rush league.

I look at matters with the additional context of the kind of football that has been played in the SE historically and our cultural ethos where football is concerned.

Back to Ajayi Rotherham pump the ball in the air (police game) and get thier big men to fight for it. One of the more prominent big men for them is Ajayi. That style suits him and is essentially his style. Clubs and managers get the players that fall in line with thier style of football. That's the context in which l look at him.

If Mahrez was in that team he would be anonymous he just would not be able to play good football and probably never win a MOTM award.

So understand the context and do not consider matters in isolation, but with a holistic view.

I am writing to educate not indict.

So do you think Leicester were playing kick and chill when Mahrez was there?

You know what I haven't seen a Nigerian put in a good cross since Musa Mohammed in Senegal u20. Even our boy Lazarus who was a cross master seems to have lost his way in that department. Rohr needs to get his fullbacks to spend extra time practicing their crossing at their clubs because that is a potent weapon to have.
