Custom and culture differences

Nigeria culture is totally different from foreign country culture, so it is not advisable to practice their culture because its not endearing to Nigerian.

For example in United kingdom (UK) the pattern children use to greet their parent is totally different from Nigeria's own.

A child can just wake up in the morning and say 'morning mom' while on standing but in 9ja you woke up and kneel down for morning prayer from your parent another one 'hi dad' with handshake. Who born you well in Nigeria.

Also you're not allowed to beat your children at all, if you do so you might land in jail. Where as in Nigeria you can beat, and beat your children and even give them hard punishment though beating is not advisable smiley

My friend even after laying down to greet their parents but they can still use them for ritual, they still join cut, they still do Yahoo Yahoo, they are still alot of immorality, the children still commit crime. A beg leave greetings and morning prayer, na how e tay epp. Hypocrisy and Nigeria are like 5&6. Abeg make person help me with that photo

Freedom of speech and movement

If you're a Nigerian in foreign country you only have a restricted place you can move to. And also there are limitations to your utterances. It is not like Nigeria where by Politician shades on government, you can't just utter hate speech to their government. If you try such in foreign country you will surely land I jail or option of fine.

Advantage of staying in Nigeria here is that you can move to ant length even the white people staying in naija have access to any place.

Its a part of reasons why our politician that has embezzled Nigeria wealth don't stay for a long period of time in foreign country. It's because there would be no recognition for them like we do in Nigeria. They only go there to rest and still resurface when election is approaching.
I don't know if you have ever leave Nigeria to be comparing Nigeria with foreign countries with freedom of speech. You can only say Nigeria is better when compare to some Islam nations, like Saudi arabia, etc. So your reasoning are so lame and annoying.

Tax Levy differences

There is heavy taxation in foreign country compares to Nigeria. It is not easy for a common person to accumulate wealth. The more richer you become, the more tax you pay. That's why you see all this footballers running from one team to another.

Its a must for you to pay tax if you relocate to US, even its a big offense for you to owe tax. They may jail you for not paying tax but in Nigeria, tax levy has limit

I don't know what you are talking about, do you even know civil servant pay income tax? In Nigeria we even practice double taxation. Whereby you will pay state levy, then local government levy, community Levy and finally you con pay agbero money.
The worst part these levies or money are going to one man pocket. Here in foreign countries, these taxes are use to build social facilities like good road, security, child welfare, retirement savings, 24uhrs light, no mosquito, no agbero. So my guy you have no reason to compare Nigeria with foreign countries. Except you are talking of place like Africa countries and some part of Asia.

shey you see the kind of people i share a country with??

The 24hrs light, good roads, good hospitals and quality education that's been our prayer points in Nigeria for centuries now, where do you think they will come from??....the sky??

these are what the high taxes paid in saner climes are used for!!!

A lil girl just got sent home from school the other day because she couldn't pay her fees. In saner climes, that's the responsibility of the government. If everyone paid their fair share of taxes, and the government made QIALITY education (Not those dilapidated govt schools) free in Nigeria, do you think she would have been sent home??

well, i guess you wouldn't know...no one does!
as long as we and our immediate family members are all doing okay, nobody cares what the rest are going through...since they're less of a human than us.

And people wonder why the whole world hates blacks. something is fundamentally wrong with the way we reason.

That is a big lie bro. In some western Europe countries, if you are a low earner like 1200 euro a month, you don't pay child welfare money, the government will be paying on your behalf. But if one day you earn up to 2000, they get have a system of calculating it. So in the first place why will you have a child without ready to take responsibility. This is how Nigerian men born full everywhere without taking responsibility.

In case you're thinking of relocating from Nigeria to Foreign country, as a Nigerian i want you to consider the following points of view before taking any steps.

Though, am not discouraging you from achieving your dream but I'd like to share you some reasonable point which is very crucial to your well-being. But before i dash into the main point let me quickly share you some experience.
I was with my lecturer one day, he told me there's a time he was hired as a visiting lecturer in USA.

As he was about going back from lecture hall to his room at the hotel he lodged to, someone came across his way and greeted him very well. In appearance he dress like a road scrubber but he is a Nigerian, the person told him he's one of his students then in university of Ilorin.

Without wasting time the lecturer asked him never to greet him again. Saying "you're a type that useless Nigerian certificate in foreign country, it is better for to work as conductor serving your country than serving eyinbo"
In your own view what did you think about the short story, the professor feel him self?
Quietly No, he's just trying to encourage the young man to always value the resources God gave him (Certificate)

Imagine, have you ever see oyinbo people doing this type of job in Nigeria. This is so ridiculous..

So now I'm going to give full details on the aforementioned point above; why Nigeria is a better place to live than foreign country

http://www.dailyggists.com.ng/2019/03/6-reason-why-nigeria-is-better-place-to.html?m=1

Oga you lie......it is better to clean dishes abroad than to be conductor in Nigeria 1million times....who Nigeria conductor help

Better than in terms of what? Before the war in Syria, you can never compare Nigeria to Syria because Syria was way better than Nigeria in terms of everything except freedom of speech. Just like in Saudi Arabia, you can't publicly criticise the crown price or the King. Except you are doing that at your own risk or either out of the country.

Infrastructure could be improved, life expectancy is terrible (but class-based), its comfortable if you have the money, employment is based too much on connections, but if one can get a decent job it removes other obstacles
Then it's safe to say Nigeria favors the "middle class" and the "rich" only....

Life in general favours the wealthy or middle class, but societies that pride themselves on being refined put contingency measures in place to look after those who are less fortunate- or at least keep them alive, with food and shelter

Thats why its important that you mentioned infrastructure since basically all the problems we are facing right now are due to shoddy, outdated and corrupt social structures that cannot serve the people they were created for

I remember last year when "restructuring" was the watch-word. It was a good idea, but it petered out. That and "true federalism"

Yes, i would say its a mixture of poor leadership, a culture of self-interest and greed, and an unstable economy. The economy point is an interesting one, because it crashed fairly recently but the bad behaviour was there previously. so it could be even more of an intrinsic problem
