TyrantInAsoRock:Why do you think Kwankwaso will bag the PDP ticket? What makes you think he can defeat southern candidates like Peter Obi, Ekweremadu, Wike, Umahi etc? Wike supported Tambuwal against a very rich Atiku and a powerful Saraki the last time out. Tambuwal came second. You sincerely think Kwankwaso can defeat Wike in 2023? With Uche Secondus as PDP chairman, you think PDP will zone its presidential ticket to the north? On what basis? |

seunmsg:Tell Dem o,I used to think he's a powerful politician before now, but look at d last pdp presidential primaries he was no where to be found, fast forward to d presidential election he couldn't win a local govt for atiku n now he's struggling to win kano state for PDP, I think d guy is overrated. |

seunmsg:Because they will not contest.PDP has zoned the 2023 presidential ticket to the north. The earlier you realized that the better for you |
| Re: The Final Battle For 2023 Politics by seunmsg(m): 4:36pm On Mar 17, 2019 |
dammiecool:The only reason APC is struggling in Kano is the Ganduje video and nothing else. APC won 27 out of the 40 assembly seats while PDP won 12 with one seat undeclared. That’s to tell you Kwankwanso is overrated and APC is still the most popular party in the state. |
| Re: The Final Battle For 2023 Politics by Nwadiuto247: 4:37pm On Mar 17, 2019 |
dammiecool:Liar. The only problem Igbos have with APC is BUHARI Once Buhari leaves politics, voting pattern in the se will change. |

seunmsg:So you think Kano people will vote Osibanjo over Kwankwaso? Let PDP take control of the state first you'll see the amount of defection |

PaChukwudi44:You don’t have to pass your personal sentiments as facts on a public forum like this. Emotional Igbos are not the only members of PDP and the party doesn’t make its zoning decision on Nairaland. If you are sure of what you are saying, share a link of where PDP made the announcement. |

The amount of defection from the APC to PDP especially in the north from now till 2023 will shock you The North loves power and the SE/SS will be supporting them ![]() SW will be outcast in 2023 then they will remember 'southern unity' |

Nwadiuto247:Buhari is the glue holding APC together when he is gone they will kill themselves The likes of Okoroocha,Amosun are only keeping quiet because of Buhari |

seunmsg:LOL Wike was able to dictate the pace because he was the one financing Pdp then Now the game has change.. If Pdp do well in the re-runs,there will enough moneybags so Wike can no longer call the shots like he used to....infact Atiku emergence weaken his hold on the party... Fayose his partner in crime where is he now Pdp will zone presidency back to North else they want to continue playing opposition Kwankwaso will floor Wike hands down even in Pdp presidential ticket contest Politics isn't stagnant it always evolving Wike can't come out today and say convention must hold in PH...its the truth |

ogmask:U are right I believe if Apc zone presidential ticket to SW.... Wike, ekweremadu should get the job done but I don't think Apc will risk it when their grip on SW is not that solid.. If Apc pick a northerner I don't see a better option for pdp than Kwankwaso Dont u think ganduje video have political undertone? The videos was complied over a long period of time They turn it into series... Kept pple salivating for nxt episode Maybe it was even a setup after all kwankwaso and ganjude are best friends before politics set them apart.. They definitely know one or two things about each other |
| Re: The Final Battle For 2023 Politics by ogmask: 6:36pm On Mar 17, 2019 |
TyrantInAsoRock:I agree with you. My little worry tho is the fact that the north will control things for a long time to come. Assuming, the apc fields a southerner, the pdp will still zone theirs to the north. This will still give the north an edge. The first thing in the minds of the poltical gladiators is to grab power. How they do that doesn't matter. They just want power and then the clock starts counting from the beginning again. |

seunmsg:Oga abeg look for some1 else wike na bad product, there r better southerner in PDP. How do 1 sell a candidate like wike ![]() |
| Re: The Final Battle For 2023 Politics by dokie: 7:32pm On Mar 17, 2019 |
uzzyke700:You say likely do? PDP has no option than to give it to the north. Apart from the SS, no other zone will vote for an igbo man and vice versa. Giving it to a Yoruba man is out of it completely. So it's North. Its either kwankwaso or tambuwal. |

[quote author=tiredoflife post=76745208]Do u know wat u are saying Zone wetin to north Another 8yrs Making it straight 16yrs to the north if we count from buhari 2015 Guy reason am well na U think say south go agree[/quote The question is; who is the south? Your opinion maybe right, but only if the south is united. Take it or leave it, the kind of suspicion ,distrust and segregation in the south is much. Look at what the just concluded presidential election has revealed. The north is one. Whether nc, nw or ne. They combine their numerical strenght. Hence if they want to rule for next 20 yrs, you cant stop them. Everybody now is playing politics for their own favour. The sw voted apc against the rest of the south because of regional interest. So others also have interest. It is all about collective bargain. Even the northen can accomodate an igbo man than a southwesterner. Check out what happened in lagos during the election. |
