I'm trying to register a business name online via the CAC website. One of the documents required to be submitted is the Memorandum and Article of Association (MEMART). I have no idea what this is, google explanation is a bit complex and does not say how I can get it in Nigeria.

Please my people, if you have any idea about this I will be glad for some help. Thanks

MEMART is not required for business name registration. Check the instructions on the portal well. Check my other posts for more information.

Thanks for your response bro, I really appreciate it. The procedure on the cac website states that a MEMART needs to be submitted. I might be getting it wrong though.

if you are registering a businessname. you do not need a memart. memart i needed for registration of a company.

for businessname you will need
means of id
your passport
your details
and the names you intend to register.

the businessname promo expires on the 31st march.

Thanks a lot sis. Where exactly on the cac website can I register business name, I keep seeing company name registration but no business name registration.

OK, I just realised that the business name registration actually falls under the company name registration.

My dilemma Now is the screenshot bellow. The two options with prices attached to them. I really do not understand them and it looks like they are optional. Can I skip them?

Sulee23, foxychev. I have gone ahead and skipped those sections I mentioned earlier and I have successfully made payment. Please what do I do now?

Though there is somewhere in the the instructions where it says I have to take my documents to the nearest cac office. Since I filled the form and made the payments online, do I just take only my ID and passport photograph to their office?
