Very good.

I'll love him to face Wole Olanipekun, Fagbemi and others.

Let them show him what Okezie Ikpeazu saw before he ran to beg Olanipekun to help him.

He won Olanipekun in this case,Olanipekun represented the APC candidate.

Go and do it and Yorubas will never have a single lawyer standing.

Igbos are not cowards.

Exactly! I remember one lawyer that was counsel to a chief that murdered a little girl for rituals many years ago. He was and still the most revered man in yorubaland.

He lost the case and also lost in his quest in becoming a president in Nigeria.

He died from drinking otapiapia.

He is intelligent no doubt, but with that name. He will only sell justice to the highest bidder. He should be investigated. The only tribe I trust is Hausa and Yoruba the can never be compromise
You are a fool! Even the Hausa you mention trust the Igbos more than the Yoruba. Have you ever been to the north b4 while I have, and I know very well that the hausas see the Yorubas as deceivers thats how the northerners sees the SW people. If not for Religion, the hausas are more contended to stay, live and do business with the Igbos than the Yorubas.

*The Igbos Are One Of The Pillars Holding Osun.
*every Policy In Osun State Affects Igbo Residents In Osun State Either Positively Or Negatively.
*the Igbos Dominates Many Parts Of Osun States In Terms Of Business And Residency.
*the Igbos Are Known To Be Skilled In Bussiness,so They Need A Tactful Business Man Like Them To Be In Charge Of There Affairs In The State,to Aid In Smooth And Successful Movement Of There Business.

The List Goes On And On
Those Points Exists Where Ever Igbos Are.

You forgot the fact that Adeleke( the governor) mother is said to be an Igbo from Ndoki Ukwa East LGA of Abia State.
The Adelekes have always been affliated to Ndiigbo.

The Man Who Convinced Osun State Tribunal To Declare Adeleke As The New Governor Of Osun State.

This is Dr Onyechi Ikpeazu ( SAN)

He is a Nigerian lawyer and also a senior advocate of Nigeria.

A brilliant lawyer and one of the finest Nigerian lawyers alive.

Dr Ikpeazu’s forte is election petition and let me explain why:

Dr Ikpeazu is Adeleke’s head of legal team that is handling his matter in court.

This man brilliantly came up with the argument that INEC returning Officer as it were lacked the locus to cancel the Osun state governorship concluded election.

His reasons were simple: Our electoral laws did not empower the Returning officer to do so and to his credit, Osun state tribunal members affirmed his brilliant argument by declaring his client winner.

Dr Ikpeazu will be leading Adeleke’s legal team all the way to Supreme Court and I know that with his deep profound knowledge of our electoral laws and his sheer brilliance which is beautiful to watch, victory is sure for the maligned Adeleke.

But aside this, what many people did not know that this was the same man that got the court to cancel Chris Ngige’s stolen mandate as the brief governor of Anambra state and then declare the not so popular Peter Obi as the governor of Anambra state in 2006.

Dr Ikpeazu marshaled his argument with eloquence and conviction from the lower court to Appeal court that Peter Gregory Obi was rigged out by Chris Uba and Ngige with iron clad evidences attached, the court after hearing his brilliant submission from this Onitsha born lawyer and with the evidences on their table can’t help but declare Peter Obi as the rightful governor of Anambra state even when many pessimists thought it was impossible for the court to do so at that time.

What this means is that he is the first Lawyer in our history to convince a Nigerian court to send a sitting governor packing.

And he is about to repeat the same feat with Adeleke.

What a man! History they say has a way of repeating itself.

An evasive and a quiet family man that shuns media publicity and the glamour associated with senior silk in this part. He prefers his work to do the talking for him.

A giant and a colossus of the legal profession.

Take a bow Dr Onyechi Ikpeazu! You have done well sir and history will remember the role you played in advancing and shaping our legal profession.

Ability to apply admissible facts to the provisions of the laws is the hallmark of legal success. No lawyer can succeed in a case without admissible facts no matter how brilliant such lawyer may be.

These guys are quick to jump the gun and only to regrettably complain that people hate them.

If I were making this thread I would save Ikpeazu brilliance for later on, that is after he wins in appeal court and in Supreme Court. Only then will I write this kind of credence to his name. Anything before that is risky.

What the OP wrote here is too high pedestal for Ikpeazu at this stage and we only hope he wins the next two stages of the battle, otherwise it will be a very dissapointing failure and another regrettable and bitter complain of how Nigeria hates Igbo.

The OPs submission has been copied for revisit after final decision at Supreme Court.

I couldn't have said it any better. After the Metuh saga, this article is almost coming off as an advert of sorts. There are other good lawyers out there who have also won high profile cases, I don't see them publicly writing an epistle about themselves. This should have been written after the supreme case has been won. Anyway, let's see how it goes

What we are seeing is a pattern, as you mentioned with Metuh, but spread across different areas of social relations.

I believe SE has boxed itself in, psychologically and politically, as a victim of social injustice. Moreso, SE fears Yorubas more than it fears Hausa/Fulani.

Ibos love Abuja which is North, but there is nothing in North that SE considers indispensable. If Abuja disappears today Ibo will survive. They cannot say the same about Lagos. If Lagos disappears situation in SE and amongst Ibos will be worse than the case of Somalia with many villages ruled by different warlords and no central authority or social order. On the flip side SE has zero benefit or desire for Yorubas. The success or failure of Ibo is immaterial to a Yoruba. Therefore the wsh, desire and ambition of every Ibo is to own and have in their posession what belongs to Yoruba. This imbalance in national equity and social arrangement is a deep pain for the Ibo and he expresses his pain outwardly by showing frustration , working and wishing for Yoruba to fail in everything. If Yoruba fails maybe Ibo can get the upper hand.

Since Yoruba is not failing they devised another method, which is to herald Ibo successes far above and beyond its merit hoping no one else in Yorubaland can match that level.

This spirit of victimization and the race to surpass Yoruba is what makes people like the OP rush to find news of Ibo success to show the rest of us that Ibo is doing better than Yoruba. In doing so they embellish and exagerrate far beyond the truth. They dont mind to find an Hausa/Fulani thats better than Ibo...they hate it when its Yoruba, which almost everytime is the result.

I wish I had a way beforehand, I would have advised the OP to hold off on this ad for Ikpeazu and not shame the brilliant lawyer unecessarily when Supreme Court announces final judgement.
